  • "I wasn't expecting a whole lot for brunch but I was amazed by not only the service but the food. The steak and eggs were so amazing and cooked perfectly to order. The bacon wrapped around the steak was a cherry on top! Bottomless mimosas were my favorite part of the meal! The waiter was very attentive and refilled our mimosas without any wait."

We chose to go when they had an international night and this was a great decision. The entertainment was excellent, the group Mango Punch was in top form and had the majority of people up and dancing. We will be back."

  • "We visited the restaurant with friends and were still seated after 9PM, enjoying our conversation. We parked in the Saks parking lot, which joins the restaurant, and which the restaurant recommends. After dinner when we were preparing to leave, we were surprised and dissapointed to learn that we could not access the parking lot because it was after 9PM, and the store was closed. We had to figure out how to retrieve our car, since we could not return the way we entered. There were others with this same dilemma, and the staff did not have a good response. During dinner, there was a flash rainstorm and water was sidewalk level. Asking my well dressed wife to "walk around the block" in her dinner attire and shoes was not the right response."

  • "My favorite crab salad did not disappoint, and the lobster bisque was creamy, flavorful, and full of lobster. But we never thought we would get served. The waiter rarely came to check on us, other than periodically to say the food was coming right out - which it didn't. At least the hot dishes were hot when they arrived. The restaurant was surprisingly full for a summer Monday; perhaps they weren't prepared for that many people. They graciously comped a dessert for my guest who was having a birthday. And I was so grateful that the smarmy piano player, who approaches the tables hoping to inspire a tip, was not present."

  • "I thought it would be a great opportunity to try 51Fifteen during Houston's Restuart Week, so I made a lunch date to try the lunch time menu. I choose the Greek salad as my appetizer but was disappointed in the lack of dressing on the salad. It was pretty dry. For my entrée, I ordered a medium steak but it came well done. The lemon tart was good! Overall, the service was slightly slow for the amount of people in the restuarnt and the drink refill was sloppy (poured water all over the floor)."

  • "Visited this restaurant for lunch during the Houston Restaurant Week Promotion. The restaurant was not very crowed and had a nice ambious to it, but it took 45 minutes for us to receive our meal (a party of 3). The timing would not have been an issue if the restaurant was completly packed or if that was the standard time of preparation. Instead we noticed several other tables that arrived after us that received their 1, 2, and 3 courses before we even received our 2nd course. What made it even more frustrating was the fact that they ordered the same entries as we did. When we were finally able to get the attention of our waiter to inquire about the extremely long wait time we were just told that the kitchen was still working on it. :-/"

  • "This is my second time dining here during HRW. Unfortunately, the lunch menu only contained entrees with pork or beef. Neither of which I eat. I thought I was going to have to leave but the server recommended a veggie dish. The veggie entrée was absolutely delicious. This was a 3 course meal, and each item was terrific. The only reason I gave the food a 4 out of 5 stars, is because the menu was limited for guests who prefer not to eat red meat/pork."

  • " HRW 2014 brunch. apps: do yourself a favor and don't ever order the gravy and biscuits..or the andouille sausage for that matter, but definitely not the gravy and biscuits. entrees: chicken and waffles were actually decent, the waffles were moist but doughy. (after having the appetizers, i stopped expecting to be blown away) steak and eggs. I can make this dish better at home. the steak tasted like steaks you would get at Luby's, if they were to serve steak. do they serve steak at Luby's? idk I'm just ranting now. omg. (bad omg) desserts: DO NOT get the strawberry parfait. Seriously, Yoplait yogurt with fresh strawberry taste better than this expired garbage! And the carrot Twinkie was ehhh. just better than the parfait."

  • "Went to brunch here for the first time last weekend. Place had a good vibe - good crowd, three piece band. Unfortunately, our service was terrible and basically ruined the whole experience for us. Our waiter never brought out my drink. Because he was nowhere to be found, we had to flag down another waiter to get my drink. When we did have our drinks - finally - our waiter hardly came by to check on us & our glasses sat empty for most of our meal. Our waiter was very unattentive. Just seemed like the staff there generally was very inexperienced which was surprising for a restaurant inside Saks."

  • "Went during HRW on Sunday August 10 2014. The gal pals and I met for brunch. Very nice restaurant. I think it would be a great date night spot. Brunch was good... Except for the 3rd course... Dessert. We all ordered something different and none of us were impressed. But you gotta love bottomless mimosas for $12!"

  • "If you want to escape the food court in the Galleria, opt for 51 Fifteen in the second level of Saks! (Nordstrom's restaurant is good too.) I went for lunch during HRW. The food was wonderful, and I almost finished the bread basket by myself! ...beware of the evil yummy raisin bread :)"

  • "I am so disappointed in this restaurant. My friend found a staple in her soup. When the general manager came over, he said he would be right back. 20 minutes later he came back and said there were no staples at all in the kitchen and my friend must have put it in there. Later in the meal, the chef came out and made his rounds at every table except for ours. My friend went and approached him, because she knew him. He said there is a stapler on the line and someone had been careless. All she ordered was a soup and salad and the manager on duty, David, was refusing to comp her $20 on our $500 bill. We were treated very poorly by David and I will not return to 5115."

  • "A group of us went here for HRW because it had high ratings; however, we were sadly disappointed. Our 1st course was medicore, but the biggest disappointment was our 2nd course. We all order the chimichurri grilled steak medium; however, we all got well done which totally killed any flavor that the steak had. We would have sent it back but service was tremedously show and we all had to be back to work shorty. On the bright side the domino chocolate cake and carrot cake Twinkie were amazing"

  • "Met friends for lunch during Restaurant Week. We chose the Restaurant Week special menu that included items not on the regular menu. The battered asparagus with a spicy sauce was great. The Greek salad was wonderful. I am salt sensitive and the chef complied. Carnitas looked very good and friends confirmed. We skipped the dessert course. We all agreed 51Fifteen is excellent--food, service, decor, etc."

  • "Stopped by here for Sunday brunch on 8/3 around 2p.m. The ambience was very nice but the service was just ok. The biggest disappointment was the food. I went with my wife and stepdaughter. We all tried different things off of their restaurant month brunch and shared. We were all disappointed with our food. My waffle fell apart and the chicken was bland. The salmon omelet was not good. I definitely couldn't recommend going there for an expensive dinner."

  • "This was a beautiful restaurant, though a little random in location (2nd floor of Saks). I loved the atmosphere, especially the live pianist, who went around to the tables and asked for requests. We went here as part of Houston Restaurant Week, and I loved the scallops. However, the server did get one of our orders wrong, and we had a hard time getting his attention to fix the problem. Overall though, it was a great restaurant with a great ambiance and view."
