A word from 4th & Swift
Atlanta chef, Jay Swift, brings his passion and creative interpretation of seasonal comfort food to 4TH & Swift. Occupying the space that was formerly the engine room to Southern Dairies, the restaurant retains many of the original elements. Exposed brick, concrete and beams are
updated with contemporary accents such as warm woods, rich fabrics and brushed white metals.

At 4th & Swift, Chef/Owner Jay Swift has created a new level in the evolution of the dining scene here in Atlanta. Jay’s culinary focus is one based on the advancement of Southern cuisine; for Jay Southern is less about reinventing regional classics than inventing new ones using regional and local products.

Attentive and friendly staff, fabulous food. Rave reviews for this restaurant from our group of foodies. We were celebrating a birthday and the surprise plate was a delicious chocolate and caramel bar with ice cream - yum! The message happy 30th birthday was appreciated by our 50th bday girl :-).

Hubby and I went there for our wedding anniversary. Had the brussel sprouts, octopus lasagna, sheapshead (fish), venison and creme brulee. Meal was outstanding, start to finish. Service was attentive but unobtrusive. They even presented us with a mini chocolate tart/ice cream dessert with a candle and "happy anniversary" written on the plate....very sweet touch! Overall, creative and unique menu perfectly executed.

Although I made reservations way in advance we were seated off of the bar area in a very drafty spot by the door. The food was good, but our waiter gave minimal attention to us. He rarely checked in and had others provide service so it did not feel very inviting to us. No complaints about the food.

I found the menus to be excellent in terms of layout and flow. The bourbon and wine options were outstanding and were within a reasonable price range. There were plenty of vegetable based side items which seemed to be very well thought out too. Nice ambiance, easy parking and great choice.

Excellent. I forget what a nice experience this place is and don't forget that it has a great patio also. We had dinner Saturday night at 4th and Swift for the first time in a long time and wondered why we haven't been in so long. We will be back soon. Don't forget dessert.

The "pastries for the table" offering is a must have, absolutely spectacular. The rest of the food was good, but not quite spectacular. I enjoyed what I had. I was also impressed with their selection at the bar. I had a martini just because they had an impressive selection of gins. Good place, I can see myself going back.

Having dined all over the world, this may be the best restaurant in the world combining outstanding food and service. I visited a Michelin 3 star restaurant in Geneva this year that would do well to come here and see what superior food and service is. My third time and it was as good as the first. Highly recommend!!

I only recommend this restaurant if you are not too hungry since the portions are minuscule, and even the entree comes across as an appetizer. What rescued me was the superb and delicious sourdough bread from their own kitchen.

Took my wife in for her birthday. We looked at the menu online and saw several things we really thought would be good. We were a little disappointed that the menu had been changed and most of the food we wanted to try wasn't offered anymore. However, they apologized and offered some suggestions and there were plenty of other items that looked good. Our waiter was very nice and provided great service. Great bloody marys. We had a fantastic brunch. Would definitely recommend.

Spur of the moment attendant, the menu is limited, but what they do have is very tasty. Very extensive wine list but small food portions. Great service, complimentary valet, ideal for intimate dates. Simple decor: painted white brick walls with minimal wall hangings and exposed roof. The pecan pudding dessert is exquisite!

We were late for our reservations therefore we were pressed to make it to the Fox on time. Our server heard us talking about it and said he would make sure we did. We had a wonderful, unrushed dinner that let us enjoy what 4th and Swift has to offer even if it wasnt as leisurely as we prefer to dine out. I will be returning when I can sit back and enjoy it even more. The small plates were FANTASTIC! one note I will make - this is on the hostesses - if there are only a few patrons in the restaurant dont seat us ALL together when you have plenty of staff to serve various areas of the restaurant.

I will start off noting that the food was delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. That being said, I was disappointed by the service. We had a 7:30PM reservation and showed up at 7PM to have a drink at the bar. Before heading to the bar we checked in with the hostess to notify her we were here and will be at the bar. A large party showed up around 7:30, approximately 20 people, and I noticed this so I went up to the hostess to remind her of our reservation so that we could sit and order before the large party. She asked if we had a reservation, after we had already checked in with her, and were then seated after the large party. Due to this, it took an hour from when we were seated to when we received our appetizers.

My husband and I recently visited 4th and Swift during a weekend away in Atlanta. We are from NE Tennessee, but travel to Atlanta several times a year for business and leisure. We are always looking for new food and dining experiences and were very pleased with our visits here. The service is more than exceptional and the food is phenomenal! On out last trip the server recommended a special dish not listed on the menu called "The Enforcer". I am not a fan of grits, but this was amazing!! I hope it becomes part of the permanent brunch menu! We also tried a various selection of sides and the Brioche French Toast, which also did not disappoint. We will be making 4th and Swift a regular stop on all of our trips to Atlanta.

What a great find! I will definitely be back for brunch, and I look forward to trying dinner. I love the brunch special. For $20 you get three courses (can include mimosa). My husband and I invited some friends to have dinner with us at 4th and Swift on Saturday night and I have to recommend my praises to the chef! We took advantage of the restaurant week special menu and were extremely pleased. 2 of us had the salmon entree and 2 had the pork entree and both were very good. I especially loved the salmon dish. The little peas and beans mixed in with the pearl cous cous was out of this world. Salmon cooked to perfection and delicious. I'm glad they made a decision to showcase some of their best ! Kudos to them. Our service with Maria was wonderful too. We'll be back!

We were pleasantly surprised at how good the food was on this first visit. We both selected the "Midtown Restaurant Week" menu. Entree's (trout, best ever, and pork loin) were great. The highlights however, were the corn soup AND the sticky toffee dessert. OUTSTANDING! Would definitely start and finish with both of these on a return visit!!
