4th & SwiftExcellent food with service to matcThis is a great restaurant for those with discerning tastes. Very smart decor, restrained but varied menu and very attentive service. The dessert was especially wonderful.6/15/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat restaurant. ClearlyGreat restaurant. Clearly at this point in time the best restaurant in Atlanta!6/15/2013 12:00:00 AMBeyond Expectations!Went for our 33rd anniversary and they had actually read where I included that in my reservation. Warmly greeted and seated; then with offered to move us to a quieter area for our special occasion without being asked. May be the one of the top 3 dining experiences ever and I have traveled from Hong Kong to Paris.
My new go-to place for clients or special occasions!6/13/2013 12:00:00 AMAlways exceeds my expectations.I cannot say enough.. Just go, take a date, eat anything, you will be impressed.
A lot of Atlanta's restaurants talk a big game but fall short whenever the head chef isn't in the building, 4th and Swift never fails.6/9/2013 12:00:00 AMLillian is the GREATEST!!!Lillian is the greatest server. Too bad she only serves at '4th & Swift' on Sundays. We need her more :-) * Peace, ken lazarus6/9/2013 12:00:00 AMSimply BrilliantSuperlative in every way; one of the city's most creative chefs and charming wait-staff.6/9/2013 12:00:00 AMAmazingAfter a few major disappointments at much-hyped, high-priced ATL restaurants, I was so pleased to finally get over to 4th and Swift. I took my husband for his birthday and it was superb. Why 5 stars? The food was impeccable, everything was amazing from the crab fritters to start, to the duck, pork, and soft-shell crab entrees. The portions were generous and I felt like I was getting my money's worth. Amazing wine, cocktail, and craft beer selections. But most of all, the place was comfortable and service great. The design is beautiful, seating comfortable, and the place didn't fall prey to my least favorite restaurant designs - extremely low lighting and overly loud music. We will be back!6/9/2013 12:00:00 AMService and Food the most memorableService is a standout for this restaurant. From the time we drove our car into the parking lot (valet), walked through the entrance (aided by host staff), greeted by additional host staff, guided to our table and provided by attentive but not overdone service by our friendly waiter. Pea soup and Veal chop were exceptional, as well as trout. Very fairly priced for the overall experience.6/8/2013 12:00:00 AMHappy AnniversaryI took a special friend to celebrate her one year here in Atlanta. When booking the reservation I asked they have a bottle of Austrian wine (her motherland). Not only did they have the wine delivered to the table with no reminder, they also had a very special happy anniversary treat at the end, candle and all!! 4th and Swift made this special night a memorable one for both of us!! Many thanks to the outstanding service (Joseph was the main guy, always smiling, very friendly and just outstanding). Great meal, great service and great memory. Thank you 4th and Swift.6/7/2013 12:00:00 AMOn my Favorites ListI recently dined at 4th and Swift for my husband's birthday and had another fabulous meal there. I had only previously dined there once, several years ago. I have to say I now regret the lapse in time that we did not revisit as this is now officially on my list of favorite restaurants in Atlanta. The only slight disappointment was dessert. The appetizers and entrees we had were solid, as were the wine and cocktail selections (and don't forget the delicious rolls!). Already looking forward to the next dining experience, whenever we can find an excuse to return!6/5/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat GritsThe shrimp and grits was so good we ordered it twice.6/2/2013 12:00:00 AMAMAZING!!!My husband and I went to 4th & Swift for brunch on Sunday. It was AMAZING!!! Better than we even thought it would be! We can't wait to go back for dinner!6/2/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat foodHad a great time. Brought my girlfriend here for her birthday. Trout with risotto was amazing. I would recommend.5/28/2013 12:00:00 AMThird time there. Every timeThird time there. Every time has been an enjoyable dining experience. Recommend Kevin as a server.5/24/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat ExperienceI reserved a table last minute and it was available. They called me to confirm that same day. We got there a little late but they sat us right away. Server explained the menu and suggested drinks. It was truly a great time and great food!5/24/2013 12:00:00 AMAlways top DrawerAs ever, evvery aspect of the meal was perfect, the service was charming, and the sticky toffee pudding remains the superwtar of Atlanta desserts.5/24/2013 12:00:00 AM4th and Swift ExcelsI dined recently at 4th and Swift with friends who like me are familiar with New York dining. Like a top restaurant in New York,
every course was excellent and the service was perfect. I highly recommend that you have this stunning experience.
Allen Jones5/23/2013 12:00:00 AMPerfectionI'm still in awe...stellar cocktails, perfect portions, and an amazing staff!5/19/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat time and serviceI took my fiancé here for our engagement dinner. The food and service was impeccable!! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone for any occasion!!5/19/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent restaurant!Fantastic food, fantastic service! What more could you ask for?5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMdeliciousThe food, wine, service was excellent. My boyfriend and I have been wanting to go there for a while and just randomly made a reservation one night and had one of the best meals we've ever had in Atlanta. We split an appetizer and an entree and had an amazing dessert. The wine selection was outstanding and reasonably priced. We will definitely go back.5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMInnovative menuThe menu choices are exceptional, offering both a market menu and a seasonal menu5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMAlways a fav!4th and Swift never fails to exceed expectations. The food is incredible, and the desserts are amazing. Service is excellent, as well! Craig was our waiter and he was attentive and approachable. Our party enjoyed the Three Little Piggies, the vegetable plate (far from boring) along with the very salad and grilled octopus (a must try). Love this restaurant.5/17/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat experience.Great dinners. My duck was well prepared. Dessert was great.5/14/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat placeGreat place, great food, a little of the beaten path but definitely worth seeking out!5/9/2013 12:00:00 AMThis place was terrific. WeThis place was terrific. We chose the chef's pris fix offering with pairings and were very pleased with the decision. The food was both excellently prepared and beautifully presented and the wines selected were a perfect compliment to each course. The renovated industrial building provides both interest and character to the design of this beautiful restaueant.5/9/2013 12:00:00 AMWonderful as alwaysWe have been to 4th and Swift several times and it is always wonderful. The food is very good and the service is outstanding! I highly recommend it.5/9/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent Food and ServiceLoved this place! Good pour on cocktails before being seated for dinner. Grilled octopus appetizer was fabulous, followed by a filet of speckle trout (rare to find this game fish on a menu). The server was attentive, but not intrusive. Chef came to our table and asked about the food and wine. Nice touch. Will be back! DP from Birmingham5/9/2013 12:00:00 AMFirst VisitAlthough it is nearby, we hadn't visited this restaurant before. What a mistake! Had the Chef's tasting menu with wine pairings. We left very happy!5/8/2013 12:00:00 AMVery, very good meal. We wereVery, very good meal. We were seated on time. The service was great and not over bearing. The restaurant was quiet. I thought the prices were10% too high but we enjoyed our experience very much. They had a great bourbon and whiskey selection which I appreciated. the complementary birthday dessert was good too.5/6/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food and service bad knives!Wonderful food and service. Only suggestion we would have is that your cutlery made our dinner (veal chop) quite challenging (particularly since the chop requires precision to carve around the bone). Although the preparation and quality of the cut was truely fantastic, you certainly felt as if you were clumsily sawing into a lesser cut of meat.5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMExtra SpecialThis restaurant was recommended by a true Atlantan with excellent taste, high standards, and gluten intolerance as an option for celebrating our son's graduation from Tech. We were pleased beyond expectations with the service, variety of menu and wine options, and beautiful ambiance for such an occasion. Chef Jay personally congratulated our son, which made the experience even more memorable. The wait and kitchen staff are extremely accommodating when it comes to gluten intolerant guests, so you can be certain to enjoy a gourmet meal with no worries. We were also delighted to see two of our new favorite dessert cordials offered on the menu: Calvados and Eau de Vie Poire Williams!5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMEverything was deliciousWent for a dinner with 6 (3 adults and 3 teenagers). Food was very good - everyone commented on how delicious it was. Enjoyed fried oysters, salads, yellowfin tuna apps, salmon entrees, wreckfish, gnocchi...Desserts were stellar - english toffee pudding was deemed the best - angel food cake was the worst (not light at all). On the whole the dinner was well executed and tasty and the service was great.5/3/2013 12:00:00 AMI love this place!4th and Swift is our FAVORITE restaurant in Atlanta. From the food to the service, we have always had an enjoyable an memorable experience. Our most recent trip included a sampling of the Meatballs, fried oysters and tuna as starters (we had 3 in our party and passed the plates around). My main was the wreckfish, you can never go wrong with the staff's recommendations! Dessert was the standard sticky toffee pudding.
We'll be back again and again and again. . .5/3/2013 12:00:00 AMAnniversaryMy wife and I celebrated our 8th anniversary at 4th and Swift. Great food and service!4/30/2013 12:00:00 AMLOVED ITWe were in town for business and just hopped onto YELP to find a restaurant... and what a find it was. The food was amazing the service impeccable and the ambience sublime!4/29/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat space with a romanticGreat space with a romantic feel. Great farm to table food. No salt and pepper on tables but you don't need them, we'll seasoned. Service was a little off we had to flag down our server a couple of times.4/28/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat foodThe food was wonderful. It was a relaxed environment and the server was knowledgable and attentive. It was a bit noisy but that didn't detract from a really enjoyable meal.4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMOur group of 4 when thereOur group of 4 when there for our daughters 21st birthday. We had a great table next to the kitchen which was seperated by glass for a great entertaining evening! Our waitress Megan was outstanding asked all the right questions properly directing the evenings events. Would definitly go back.4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMReally enjoyed this restaurant.Really enjoyed this restaurant. The ambience was good, the service was overall very good and the food was excellent. We had the lavendar vodka infused drink (well 3 of them) and they were delicious!!! I would recommend this spot and will most certainly be back!!! The burrata appetizer was out of this world!!4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMI have read about 4th andI have read about 4th and Swift for quit sometime, but it took me a while to finally eat there. I wish I would have come sooner... Wow! This place was amazing. The bar had great variety, the menu was great and the restaurant has a great ambiance. I really enjoyed the "keeper of the trees" cocktail. One of the best bourbon drinks I have ever had. The venison tenderloin and 3 little piggies were both recommended to my date and I. We each got one the dishes and shared and they are both so flavorful and artfully presented. We finish with the English toffe cake and I will be going back just for this. All I can say is if you have been to 4th and Swift and you are thinking about going... Make it your next dinner outing.4/26/2013 12:00:00 AMFood was delicious with veryFood was delicious with very unique combinations. The portions are small and the guys in our group wanted more, but that left room for great dessert - their signature warm toffee pudding!4/26/2013 12:00:00 AM4th & Swift is another restaurant4th & Swift is another restaurant that we frequent because we know that it will always be great. The thing that stood out to me this time was the split pea soup with kipped salmon - I'm a big fan of split pea soup, but am used to having it cooked with ham. I was unsure what to expect, but it was actually delicious. But that's one of the things I enjoy most about here, that I'll be challenged with something new. So give it a try!4/26/2013 12:00:00 AM4th & Swift has been high4th & Swift has been high on our list of "really want to go there" places. Our first time visit was a special occasion. We were given a comfortable booth. It was early evening on a weekday, so not so busy (which was nice). Our service was excellent, although our server 'disappeared' a little toward the end of the meal. Cocktails were outstanding. Wine list excellent. The lamb meatballs were outrageously good, but the rest of the food didn't make us feverish about returning. We had very high hopes, but a recent meal at Canoe eclipsed this one by a mile.4/24/2013 12:00:00 AMOur bartender was awesome. Our bartender was awesome. He took so much pride in his drinks and made sure each was just perfect. I highly recommend "Taming the Shrew".4/22/2013 12:00:00 AMOur current favorite restaurantThis was our second visit, this time for my wife's birthday. Everything is top notch and we will keep coming back. Chef Jay Swift even greeted us!4/22/2013 12:00:00 AMHad the chefs tasting menuHad the chefs tasting menu and it was amazing and absolutely worth the price. Also enjoyed two specialty cocktails revenge of the beekeepers. Only complaint was bar service was a bit slow.4/18/2013 12:00:00 AMWe recently visited this restaurantWe recently visited this restaurant after having had a good experience there a year or so ago. All of us ordered the Tasting Menu, and it was, overall, very good. As always, with Tasting Menus, some courses are better than others; in our case, the scallop with peas and the quail with polenta were especially good. The lamb course was not to my liking - the addition of a hot pepper was a little strange. Wines served with the courses were well matched and reasonable priced. Service was smooth and professional. We'll return!4/18/2013 12:00:00 AMDelicious selection of plates.Delicious selection of plates. Excellent and attentive service from everyone.4/17/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat amosphere and wonderful food!Had a wonderful experience and the food was outstanding. The serving sizes were 'just right' with each course not being overly petite or overly generous. The brussel sprout and apple appetizer was a favorite among the table. A definite place to return to.4/16/2013 12:00:00 AM
