360 The Restaurant at the CN TowerBetter than I expectedFor the price you can have a better meal at Canoe or Far Niente but it is fair value. We took our kids for a treat as they had never gone up the tower. We had salmon, char, halibut and steak. All were quite good but nothing outstanding. Apptizers included scallops, lobster and corn chowder and ceaser salad.
Our server, Paul, was terrific and made excellent recomendatiosn.Everyone enjoyed their meal. Portion size was fine and everyone left feeling a little stuffed.
Bill ran about $300 including tax before tip which would be high based just on the food. When you consider it would cost $150 just to take the elevator up it really isn't a bad deal.
Dinner at 360 is absolutely the best way to enjoy and take in the view. Good value.12/3/2013 12:00:00 AMA room with a view second to noneWent for my girlfriends 30th birthday. I mentioned that in the reservation along with asking for a window table. We got the window table and they also put a candle and a nice chocolate birthday greeting on her desert without me having to make any additional request.
We were both very happy with the dinner experience.
Cheers,
Richard12/3/2013 12:00:00 AMit was a very nice momentit was a very nice moment every thing was perfect thank's12/3/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent evening. Food wasExcellent evening. Food was great but portion size was huge (and I'm a big eater) and I don't like wasting food. Smaller portion and a slightly less fatty steak would raise food score to 5/5. Can't fault it otherwise.12/3/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat view and service. Child'sGreat view and service. Child's meal very good as able to order salmon from children's menu. Enjoyed appetizer and main meal but found chocolate tower dessert looked better than it tasted. Overall a memorable experience.12/3/2013 12:00:00 AMA wonderful way to spend aA wonderful way to spend a special occasion. I booked for my son and his wife for their Silver Wedding and everything I asked for, and more, was provided. As I booked from the UK I would like to thank the staff of the CN Tower for looking after them.11/4/2013 12:00:00 AMBeen three times with familyBeen three times with family & friends who came to visit. Had an excellent time each time. Great place.11/4/2013 12:00:00 AMOverall the restaurant wasOverall the restaurant was good, the food was a little pricy but tasty none the less. The views are incredible however the atmosphere within the restaurant would benefit from a piano bar or something of that kind. The staff were friendly and attentive making an enjoyable evening.9/4/2013 12:00:00 AMIt was absolutely amazing,It was absolutely amazing, amazing staff and wonderful food.8/4/2013 12:00:00 AMWhat a great start to MarchWhat a great start to March break! A memorable experience for my 10 year old son - best way to see the CN Tower!8/3/2013 12:00:00 AMHighly recommended for childrenMy three young nephews and I visited the restaurant for a weekend lunch. The experience was tremendous. The boys had a comfortable, leisurely opportunity to observe the city, the lake and airport. It was the highlight of their Toronto visit.
Also, everyone was pleased with their meals and it was excellent value (the combined cost of a meal and lift ticket is only marginally more expensive than a lift ticket alone).7/4/2013 12:00:00 AMPerfect restaurant for a specialPerfect restaurant for a special occasion or event.
Great views, nice ambiance & great service.7/4/2013 12:00:00 AMFantastic scenery. Great food.Booked for husband's significant birthday. The staff were all very friendly and courteous right from entering at the ground level, the lift attendant and the waiting staff. The menu choices were varied for both wine and food. Not good for lighter appetites though. The smallest rib steak was 20oz and the seafood platter was huge...but lovely.Prices are not cheap, but not overpriced for the quality and quantity of food. The views are definitely better at night and booking the restaurant allows you to visit the viewing platform and glass floor free. Would definitely recommend for romantic evening or special family occasion.
Don't put your handbag or phone on the ledge though as you might not see them for a while.7/3/2013 12:00:00 AMAmazing NightTook my boyfriend to the 360 as a surprise for his birthday. The service is incredible. Clarence was very helpful and recommended great choices to us first timers. The food was delicious and super filling. we shared the Calamari Appetizer which was too die for. He got the Beef prime rib which was very good but passed on the bread pudding. I got the vegetarian Gemelli dish. Both excellent choices. You can choose either from the a la carte menu or the fixed menus. If you love your wine, then youll love this place! the wine menu was triple the size of the menu itself! If your looking for a relaxing night, then this is your spot. Plus, you get access to the glass floor and observatory included.6/13/2013 12:00:00 AMRomantic getawayI took my girlfriend to the 360 restaurant for her birthday and she loved it. She says it was her best birthday ever, the food and the glass floor were all excellent. It was a fulfilling and new experience overall.6/13/2013 12:00:00 AMA different view on lunchtime..We enjoyed the experience of eating whilst seeing the city unfold below us. The choice of dishes on the fixed price menu were interesting and were well prepared. We were pleased we decided to take some time out of our usual sightseeing rounds to do something unique and memorable while in Toronto.6/13/2013 12:00:00 AMExceptionalThe food is great, service is great, atmosphere is great, view is great... what else can I say? 360 is an exceptional dining experience6/11/2013 12:00:00 AMPerfect....I took my friend who was visiting there for lunch with my 12 month old. We had a wonderful lunch, with great service and wonderful views!6/11/2013 12:00:00 AMhoneymoon's dinnerWe appreciate the atmosphere and the excellent service, further to an amazing view of the city6/11/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat ExperienceGreat place. Amazing view. Good food. Good service.6/9/2013 12:00:00 AMA fantastic lunchCelebrating my father's 70th bday and being the first time my parents had been up the CN Tower. The overall experience was amazing for them. The food, the service and the scenic views made for a great celebration.6/9/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Views, good food, rude waiterAwesome views, can't get it from any other level. Food was good but waiters were not very friendly. Would have made it a perfect had the waiters been nicer6/9/2013 12:00:00 AMBirthday luncheonMy older brother had arrived from The Netherlands on June 2 in New York and we would celebrate his 80th birthday in Kitchener. But 80th birthday is a very special day and having lunch in Toronto's CN Tower 360 restaurant is very, very special.
All, yes all restaurant employees did their best to spoil us, I'm sure byond their required duties, although nobody knew anything about our celebration, it was absolutely an unforgettable fantastic experience. The food, the service, the scenic view, it was all " Top-Shelf " , just perfect.
Thank you all for making my brother's day so special6/9/2013 12:00:00 AMFantasticI would recommend any one who loves food to eat at the 360 restaurant, there was 9 of us, and everyone said it was one of the best meals they had eaten, the beef was to die for, and the sweets were mouth watering.
The views are fantastic, and the service impeccable,
Next time were in Canada, we will be coming back,
Thanks very much
Shaz Walker from the Lake District England6/9/2013 12:00:00 AMWonderful view, wonderful foodwow. ok, I read some reviews that this restaurant is over priced and the food was just okay.... that is nonsense. I'm not saying its cheap, but my goodness, the food was excellent, and the view with the whole rotating restaurant thing is amazing. Reminder....you sit right at the windows at 1100 feet high above a huge city.... definitely worth the price for a once in a lifetime experience.6/8/2013 12:00:00 AMAmazing all the way aroundThe food was beyond expectation complemented with excellent, attentive service. It was a perfect dining experience coupled with an amazing view of Toronto. The server went above and beyond to make sure that our experience was incredible.6/8/2013 12:00:00 AMUnforgettable ExperienceDining at 1100 feet, rotating 360 degrees in 72 minutes, overlooking beautiful Toronto harbour and city is a truly unforgettable experience.6/8/2013 12:00:00 AMService was excellent andService was excellent and view breathtaking. Food was excellent also. Can't say enough about the view!!!!!6/8/2013 12:00:00 AMReviewFood was good but very expensive for what we ate.
I would definitely recommend it for the view in the night.6/8/2013 12:00:00 AMAmazing food, view and atmosphereMy new husband and I visited Toronto as part of our honeymoon and decided to splurge on a nice meal out at the 360 Restaurant since it was just a short walk from our hotel. It was more money than we would normally spend on a night out but well worth the splurge on our honeymoon. The only negative was that we waited a while for our initial service once we sat down, but the dinner rush was just ending and it gave us some time to enjoy the incredible view. The food was delicious, and as my husband said, every meal afterwards is going to be slightly disappointing. Each and every bite of every course was amazing. Knowing how good it was we will definitely save some money for another meal there the next time we are in Toronto.6/8/2013 12:00:00 AMWonderful ExperienceThis is our 3rd time dining at 360 and we've enjoyed it every time. Traditionally only my wife and I go, but this time we were joined by other family who hadn't been in many years. We had a reservation for 7 pm and were promptly seated. The service was timely, friendly, but in no way rushed and the food was delectable, as always. We're not regular "fine diners" by any means, but like to treat ourselves now and again, and between the 360's menu, waitstaff, and incredible views (which can be seen from every seat in the house), 360 is a must-try for tourists and Torontonians (such as myself), alike.6/8/2013 12:00:00 AMBest bang for dollarVery good value for money spent. Great meal and terrific view.6/7/2013 12:00:00 AMAs a first timer at 360 TheAs a first timer at 360 The Restaurant, the view was amazing. We went for an early dinner, and were able to stay longer than we might have been able to if we had a reservation at the more traditional dinner time. Our waiter was not only knowledgeable in the food and wine available in the restaurant, but also gave us excellent suggestions for other restaurants in the Toronto area. Overall we felt it was well worth the cost.6/7/2013 12:00:00 AMScottGreat spot if visiting the CN Tower to take pictures from. Great view of downtown Toronto, great food, great service & atmosphere.
As for prices the entrees are reasonable considering the elevator ride price is included. However we found the price of the starters & appetizers are very expensive. We ordered caesar salad for $15 and when they arrived at our table we were very disappointed in what we received. The salad was about 4-5 small (while) romaine lettuce leaves placed in the middle of a dinner plate with caeser dressing, cheese, crutons & real bacon on top. It looked & tasted good, but very small for the price, the price should be about half what they charge.6/7/2013 12:00:00 AMThe Supper Above the CloudsIt would have been perfect if we hadn't been totally fogged in. Oh, well, I guess we have a good reason to visit Toronto again.6/6/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat view with okay foodIf you want to go up the CN Tower for the view, it's just $25 more for a 3 course prix fixe lunch, so your expectations of the food can't be too high. Everything was fine, with the desserts being the best, expecially the chocolate ones.6/5/2013 12:00:00 AMAbove everything else in TorontoOne-time life experience to be recommended.
We had diner at this place with my wife and not only did we enjoy an excellent meal, but we spent the best time admiring Toronto from 350 meters (or so) above the ground6/5/2013 12:00:00 AMLovely experienceDining at 360 The Restaurant at the CN Tower was one of the highlights of our vacation, a repeat honeymoon after 20 years. With our reservation, we received VIP treatment at the CN Tower, bypassing the long lines for access to the observation level. A beautiful souvenier photo was taken of us on our way up, and after liesurely dining we made our way to the observation level, the glass floor, and eventually back down to shop for momentos. The food was to our taste and some of the staff had been there when we were there last (20 years!). This outing was reasonably priced for the dining and the CN Tower experience, particularly for Toronto which I considered a bit on the expensive side as a destination. Definitely recommend!6/5/2013 12:00:00 AMExellent!Fine cuisine, excellent taste, friendly and professionnal personnel, the view is incredible! Nothing bit good place to be!6/4/2013 12:00:00 AMShe said YES!Thank you! It was a very positive and romantic experience! The food was very good. The views were excellent. The Tower experience was easily a complete package for this special occasion. At ground level and in the 360, the staff was professional and very pleasant. The prices were a bit steep, but they included admissions to the Tower. The fixed three-course meals, minus admissions, therefore were comparable in prices to other restaurants in this class. Our server was professional: unassuming, understanding, easy-going and funny. We highly recommend the 360!6/4/2013 12:00:00 AMReally nice, especially the sunsetIt was a really nice experience, the $60 "prix fixe" menu worths each dollar spent and the view is... amazing! Definitely, if you are in family, with friends or you want something romantic, don't hesitate, it's THE place to go in Toronto.
Nevertheless, I don't recommend the restaurant for kids, there is another option for them which is just get the view and not the restaurant. Indeed you need a bit more than an hour to get the full tour and I'm not sure kids (too young) will love.6/3/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat experienceFood was amazing, drinks were great, and the view was stunning. Price was steep, but that's to be expected!6/3/2013 12:00:00 AMAn Enjoyable ExperienceI have been here a few times over the years, mostly for special occasions. The very first time was way back in 1976. The 360 Restaurant while expensive is worth the expense when everything is taken into account. The elevator lift up is included, access to the obsevation deck is included, has an unequalled rotating view, delicious food and excellent service. Though we were only a two-some and the tables by the windows are usually seat more, it being a special occasion I asked for a window table. My request was granted and I'd like to thank who ever was responsible. We were there June 2nd. Carlos was our server and he was attentive and efficient. We would highly recommend this venue - especially for a special occasion.6/2/2013 12:00:00 AMWas less than impressed byWas less than impressed by the initial Maitre D who took a while to address us at the restaurant reception and didn't look at me once during our exchange, she then left me and my guest standing at the desk without explanation for several minutes!
We were then taken over to our seats which weren't ready and left standing "single file" along a corridor.
When we finally were seated things improved, our waiter was attentive and friendly and the food was great. The atmosphere and of course view are unrivaled. Definitely worth a visit, it's just a shame that the first impression wasn't really what I expected bearing in mind We paid $150 for two mains, a glass of wine and two deserts!6/2/2013 12:00:00 AMService should have been betterOverall everything was perfect. The food was excellent. Not over-crowded (Sat lunch time). We enjoyed the view. It took us 1.5 h to take set lunch with drinks and coffee. But our waiter behaved awful in the end of the lunch. He showed that he was not satisfied with his tips in front of us. It is unacceptable. Due to him, all impressions of the lunch, spot and view were spoilt.6/1/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food ! Even greater views !Had a great time at the 360 Restaurant at the CNTower. The food was great! You get certain priority for getting up to the restaurant as opposed to just going to the viewing floors. Spectacular views from the revolving restaurant. Would highly recommend!6/1/2013 12:00:00 AMFinally tried it and wouldFinally tried it and would definitely go again for a special occasion. Even our young adult children loved it.6/1/2013 12:00:00 AMBirthday CelebrationVisiting Toronto from England for the first time we searched the Internet for a special 65th birthday celebration and the 360 restaurant did not disappoint us. The efficient and friendly staff made sure that we were looked after and it was obvious from their demeanour that they enjoyed looking after us, in fact our waiter had been ' revolving' since 1996 so could help us find the various landmark buildings with ease. Our meal was superb and we shall remember the evening for a long, long time. Our booking for 8pm in early June meant the we had both daylight and night which was spectacular.6/1/2013 12:00:00 AMWOW!What a fantastic way to celebrate a Birthday....fantastic view, excellent food and Mike, our waiter was outstanding!6/1/2013 12:00:00 AMWe had a very positive experience. We had a very positive experience.
