Diner Reviews
  • "Food is mediocre, I found a pebble in my dish. Our waitress was quite difficult to get hold of, condescending and unbelieving of our words. Not a great experience food wise."

  • "The location, food and views were amazing. My wife and I were there for our second anniversary. We went around sunset so we got a full revolution in this rotating restaurant during daylight hours and a second revolution after the sun had set. Don't go here thinking it will be a cheap meal and you'll have a great time. Service was quick but I felt a bit like We were being rushed. Not very personal, we had 3 different people come to our table and I didn't get any of their names. Not a bad experience at all just thought the service would be friendlier and more helpful"

  • "Nice place, good service. The view of Toronto is amazing."

  • "First I will say that the service from our waiter was fantastic and the view was outstanding. The food was just ok at best. I ordered the $75 prix fix menu. The amuse bouche was good. My duck confit salad was bland and it was not duck confit, it was just shredded (unseasoned) duck on the salad. My beef cheek was cooked perfectly but again, utterly unseasoned and bland. The morels were overcooked in (I believe) the braising liquid...almost unrecognizable & completely flavourless. A morel mushroom normally has incredible flavour. The dessert was good. The cookie layers could have been thinner to make it easier to eat, but it was tasty. Note: If salt & pepper are not provided at the table, I expect the food to be seasoned by the chef."

  • "I went there for my mother's birthday - I didn't expect much of the food - but turned out the food was great too! Big portion, and tasty!"

  • "My fiancé and I went to the 360 restaurant for our 6 year anniversary. We both had the steak as our main course and both hated it! The cut was extremely tough and fatty half of my steak was left on the plate. Our waiter was very brief and not overly friendly and the courses were brought out very quickly leaving little time to relax chat and enjoy the atmosphere. We felt rushed and our food was overpriced and not nearly as good as the keg. Would only recommend for the amazing view!"

  • "Go here only if you want want to enjoy the scenic view of Toronto. Avoid this place if you're looking for great food."

  • "This was the first time we had lunch here. The view is of course spectacular but I didn't know what to expect from the food. I was so impressed by the menu choices and the quality. We've eaten in a number of high-scale (no pun intended) restaurants of late and the food here was by far the best. We were all extremely pleased with our meal choices. We plan to return in the Spring. If you're looking for a place that will exceed your expectations, this is the place to come."

  • "We were really impressed by the whole experience. An absolute delight. It was a surprise treat for my partner and he loved it. Views were impressive."

  • "Pretty much what I expected. Fantastic view which is why we dined there, the food was average and overpriced. While the steaks were supposed to be high quality they were adequate and had little taste, the peppercorn sauce was thin and tasteless. The deserts were ok, my ricotta tart with berries had a decent taste and texture. But it's still a great experience for the view which is why most people will go."

  • "Beautiful view. Little noisy with young babies and kids, which was not romantic. Better later in evening for romantic meal. Food was very good, beautifully presented. Waiter was friendly and efficient. Overall nice experience. Getting to restaurant was horrible, with throngs of people and long elevator waits going down after dinner."

  • "The food was great but the choices were limited. Expensive aswell but that is to be expected at a place like that."

  • "Although we were looking forward to this dining experience while visiting Toronto, we were underwhelmed with the scene. We were expecting some sort of refinement and exotic menu for the prices and were disappointed to hear unruly children, see flipflops and beachwear. The food was OK but choices were limited. Our waiter was pleasant but busboy didn't do a thorough job leaving litter on the table throughout the meal. The view was terrific but not worth the prices. You can do better at other Toronto establishments."

  • "I decided to come to the 360 restaurant for my boyfriends birthday. It was by far such a dissapointing experience. First the table is so small your bombarded with large menus taking up so much room in front of you. I had called earlier to confirm that I was coming for my boyfriends birthday, I was told there would be a card on the table against the candle saying happy birthday. There was nothing there to be found. I ordered a drink and ended up almost choking on a piece of foil. I infromed our server whose name was bobby, who later changed my drink and informed me someone from the bar accidently opened a wine bottle near my drink resulting in foil flying off. Regardless thats unacceptable, for a respectable franchise."

  • "Given the complimentary admission to the tower, $65 pre-tax is not so expensive, but the appetizer is extremely awful, my night was destroyed by the over-salty appetizer. Main entree and dessert are fair for the price, though not satisfactory. Waiters let you wait too long for ordering. Bad chef, I felt his bad will."

  • "better to arrange same kind of customer sit beside each other, my neighbor customer is a table for 12 making so much noise, its kind of disturb, we can't really hear what the families said. but, beside this the environment is good and the servers are very nice and smiley."

  • "The booze and seafood were flowing well which explains half the bill. I can only speak for myself but I've waited over 10 years to enjoy grillled calamari as good as you can get here. The entrée was fabulous; sautéed lobster and shrimp, ontop basil lasagna which was sunk below a beautiful marinara sauce. My uncle seemed to enjoy his màpleuesque oysters but who really knows with him. The wine was great from what I was told, not being a wine drinker myself however I did see the wine cellar and it was the most wine I've ever seen in one place. The wine list was 2 inches thick and included a $15,000 bottle (18 litres if you're looking for value) . The view is breathtaking with the restaurant making one revolution during our 2.5 hour dinner."

  • "Great restaurant for the scenic view. The food was good but the steaks were over cooked for what was ordered. We would go back."

  • "Visited for dinner. The steak and veal were simply scrumptious. Great service, great food, great view....what else could one want?"
    Dined on 8/23/2014
  • "Food and ambience was awesome! Lunch took 2 hours from time we were seated, that seems a little slow to me, however with full rotation taking 72 minutes, it made sense. The decor is screaming to be updated . It's tired, worn and banged up."
    Dined on 8/23/2014
  • "Food was mediocre for the price points. Service was quite disappointing considering the excitement of the attraction. Wait staff were all very unfriendly. Nothing good from the experience other than the view. You'll get better service from pretty much any other restaurant."

  • "This kind of restaurant asks you a premium price for the unique view they offer. And that's a fair deal. But then you expect good cuisine. We had foie gras, halibut, and pig cheeks. The foie gras was just OK, as it was as a terrine, instead of the real thing. The pig cheeks were good. But the halibut was terrible: overcooked, therefore tasting and feeling like a piece of rubber. We returned it, and they proposed salmon instead --I guess halibut was a problem that day? The salmon was good, but its side deserved to be the main dish --shrimp filled ravioli, really tasty. The wine list is quite good and has a few worthy bottles. So expect to pay a premium, enjoy the view, and don't look to harshly at the food."

  • "Don't usually expect outstanding food at a 'tourist' destination but was pleasantly surprised at the quality of our entrees - highly recommend!!!"

  • "I was there with my family and we had an okay experience. The food was okay (a little bit greasy and too salty) but the service was terrible. The waiter could barely speak English and could not explain the things in the menu. He took forever to bring the bread and appetizers. It is ridiculously over-priced compared to the quality of the food and service."

  • "Great view and ambience. Food was poor with slightly below average service."

  • "We had a great dinner at the cn tower. It was clear so we could see across the water and the city. The wine list was extensive and the food was delicious. Our server wasn't too friendly or engaging which was a little disappointing. I also asked for a celebratory cake but they had forgotten about it so we didn't get it which was frustrating. I'd recommend it for a unique dinner experience."

  • "The meal was very good ****...expensive but when you add in the romance and amazing view...it was worth celebrating our anniversary that way. It is more of a one time/special occassion restaurant to us. The only downfall was the wait to get up to the restaurant. We booked our reservation for 4:30pm...early because we were attending an event later. We didn't get seated until 5pm...this made us rush our meal and we were late to our other event."

  • "We came to the CN Tower restaurant to celebrate our 50th wedding aniversary with our whole family. It was a happy and memorable occasion and the whole family had a great time. For many of them it was the first time in the restaurant, and they were very impressed. The food was excellent and we were very happy with a courteous service. Guy Laroye"

  • "great for our family of 4. better view than just the observation room."

  • "The food was absolutely wonderful, had the prix-fixe lunch. Well worth the splurge to treat a friend, by-pass the line-ups to go up the tower and enjoy an unobstructed leisurely view of the entire city while enjoying great food. Servers were competent and friendly, although I noticed only one female present on staff - a hostess. This is a wonderful special occasion choice, but found the cost of beverages excessive, non-alcoholic and alcoholic. I would definitely reccommend this for visitors and locals alike. It's been the highlight of my granddaughter's visit, even beating out Niagara Falls!"

  • "WE arrived and upon receiving our wine the food came out in a frenzy. We asked the waiter to slow down and his reply was"Did not one tell you"? Tell us what? The restaurant was fully booked for a function at 9:00 pm and everyone had to be cleared by then. That was very upsetting. We asked for our bill and left. NEVER AGAIN."

  • "If you want to sit by a window, be prepared to wait; you will have a better chance for a table of two (there were three of us, and the wait would have been 45 minutes, and we had an early reservation). It is still a nice view from the other tables, but by the windows would be ideal. The menu is quite pricey, so you might as well get the best view if you have the time. I had the vegetarian pre fixe menu, and it was good. Access to the viewing levels is included in the price of dinner, but only one level allowed for decent picture taking, the other level had fencing so dense there was not way to take pictures through it. I was satisifed doing this once, but would not do it a second time."
