  • "Great food, service and atmosphere, just a bit pricey for the whole package."

  • "We had dinner at 350 First to celebrate our 25th Anniversary. We had been engaged at the restaurant 25 years earlier. The food and atmosphere were as wonderful as we remembered. It will continue to be a very special place for us:)"

  • "We went in a group of 6 for a birthday celebration. We were seated immediately and were well taken care of. The food was very good."

  • "We really enjoyed our dinner at 350 First. Brittany, our server, was fun and prompt. We enjoyed the view of the river and the open feel of the restaurant. I would recommend dinner or lunch to anyone who is in downtown Cedar Rapids."

  • "We both had special....Tuna steak. It was unbelievably delicious. We decided to try the creme brule for dessert and it was equally delicious. Anxious to go back again in the future."

  • "When I made the reservations, I asked for a table next to a window, since it was our anniversary and wanted a special night but when we arrived were told that we couldn't have a window table. A little disappointed. We were seated too close to the bar, which was somewhat busy because of a Titan's game at the US Cellular Center. Food was ok - but overpriced! Could have had the same meal at another restaurant for much less."

  • "I thought the menu was a little pricy for the food."

  • "Great view as evening falls, and cuisine choices that truly pleased. Enjoyed the portion sizes, which were tuned to the moderate eater."

  • "Breakfast was good. I asked 3 mornings for avocado and was told the restaurant did not have. Dinner was so slow. It was finally served a good hour after we ordered (place was not busy Tuesday night). I opted for vegetables in lieu of potatoes and got a small side. Needless to say the salmon and small serving of vegetables left me very hungry. Ordered the same dish at the White Ale the following night and enjoyed the dinner and portion."

  • "Not sure if the food goes to the "foodie" level, but it is interesting, tasty, and nicely plated. We went as a group, had a great time, were treated like special guests - and we'll go back!"

  • "I didn't think it was necessary to call & confirm my online reservation. This is perhaps out of anyone's control, but the people around us were loud. In an upscale restaurant I expect a quieter environment. My husband didn't think the salmon had much flavor and he didn't care for the potato salad or chilled broccoli served with it. It was a pleasant surprise to receive a sample appetizer. In the future we might return for drinks, or perhaps dessert, but probably not for dinner."

  • "There are definitely pros & cons to the experience we had there. The décor and view from 350 First are fantastic. That's about were it stopped being amazing. Nothing really jumped out at me where I could say "That was the best ____ that I've ever had!" I ordered the Cowboy Cut Ribeye, but the meat itself didn't have much taste and was rather fatty, even for a ribeye. The sides were not served hot enough. My wife ordered the stuffed shrimp. They were a bit too chewy, but the stuffing was great. The Sunday brunch was a disappointment. The entrees were almost always empty and again. All in all I'd have to say that as for the food, it's not that I was displeased, but I definitely won't register the flavors in my long term memory banks."

  • "We really enjoyed decor and loved the valet parking. We thought the food was excellent but maybe just a little over priced. It is one of those places everybody should try at least once, if it's not to your liking you don't have to go back but if it is you don't want to miss it."

  • "This is our 2nd time for 350 First!! Thanks for the great experience AGAIN, we had a blast Rachel did an outstanding service for us!! It is so fun to be in such a great atmosphere, with phenomenal food. Make sure you take advantage of the valet parking, it's a great perk to eating at the restaurant. We we will be back again."

  • "We had high hopes for this place, but the food was average, especially for the price. Our steaks were slightly overcooked (not enough to send back). We got the coffee rub, which was excellent, but the meat itself had no flavor. For what we spent, there are a few other restaurants in town we would have rather gone to. The bar is nice, with a great view. I think it would be a good place for drinks late night, but have dinner somewhere else."

  • "Had the New Year"s Eve special. Kind of tapas in nature except for entree (more to entree). Gourmetish in nature and absolutely superb. Checked out regular menu. Appeared to be more standard steaks and seafood. Wait staff excellent. View from 16th floor very nice."

  • "I loved the food we were served! I had the best filet I've eaten in many many hears. I dining experience overall was delightful, the relaxed atmosphere of restruant was outstanding. The wait staff were very good at explainging the items on the menu. They weren't pushy at all which I really liked. I will definately be back at my first opportunity and also recommend this location as a wonderful place to go for a fine dining experience."

  • "The 4 of us enjoy dining out and trying new places, and recognize that a lot of things go into a 5-star experience. Ambiance was nice - pretty quiet, soft lighting, contemporary decor, and one of the best views of the city from the bar side though the dining side has a "lovely view" of Quaker Oats factory... we made an effort to look past that and concentrate on the river beside it. Service was good, not exceptional. Food was good, not great, & pricey - I don't mind spending $30 a plate but expect sides with that; everything was ala carte. Wine was disappointing - Ordered a mid-range bottle of wine and it turned out to be a twist top! Sorry, I just prefer a corked bottle, and the taste wasn't good enough to get past it. Overall: B"

  • "We had not been to 350 on 1st since re-opening. We were at another even at the hotel the week earlier and were taken by the nice atmosphere and nice scenic views from the top of the hotel. We wanted to celebrate a bit so we picked 350 on 1st for our special night and we were not disappointed. We got a table on line with a great view. Nice sized portion of our food. We had a great server, Brittany. It was a very nice night! We'll be back!"

  • "I loved the view, decor, and food and wine were awesome. Our waitress was the best of the best. We hadn't been there before and she was able to help us make some wonderful choices. The only catch to the evening was the hostess being confused about my reservation and so we wound up with a less than desirable table, but it was still ok."

  • "We ordered a cocktail and within a very few minutes the salads were served. We were only half way through our salads and cocktails when the entrees arrived. They sat on the table while we finished our salads. The entrees were then cold. There needs to be more time allowed in between courses. The restaurant was not crowded but felt we were being hurried along for no reason. The food was very good but very cold. Our waitress was wonderful."

  • "Enjoyed the atmosphere and the food, but the drink prices were outrageous. When I ordered a mojito I had no idea it would be $12, and would have never ordered a second one. If we visit again it will be for the food and we will drink water. Even the beer prices, which my husband had were ridiculous. We don't pay that for drinks at very nice restaurants when we are in CA."

  • "I knew when we went that we would be spending close to $100 for two people which made the prices a little easier to handle when we looked at our bill. The whole feel of the restaurant was great. Romantic and elegant but modern and relatable. The food was fantastic, and I was glad that the portion sizes were not too small. The service was great. The hostess knew it was our anniversary and the server knew the menu very well and had great suggestions. Even the view was great. I felt as if I were on top of the city."

  • "Food is delicious and the service was great. When the waitress found out we were celebrating our anniversary the kitchen staff prepared a special dessert for us for free."

  • "I would HIGHLY recommend eating at 350 First for business, pleasure or a group of people. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and made great recommendations. Very friendly as well. Although not inexpensive, it is great for special occasions. This is a very special place to eat and enjoy the amazing views at night of the city!"
