A word from 35 Steaks + Martinis
35 Steaks + Martinis is inspired by the clean, classic steakhouse with an edge. Featuring a unique blend of colors, the space consists of chocolate, charcoal, silver, gold, white and chrome finishes. Some of the eye-catching accents include custom chrome-plated chandeliers suspended from the main dining room, as well as black pearl glass pendants and white shell sconces adorned in the private dining area. The main dining room presents two elevations with silver, textured walls, split-faced marble stone and chocolate padded columns. The bar and lounge area features welcoming yet elegant fabrics and patterns, chrome and glass shelving and offers the perfect spot for people-watching. Rock and roll influences are executed through raw black and white photography scattered throughout the space.

Horrible, loud techno music playing in the restaurant. Bad experience last year as well. I think this officially off our list."

  • "We are locals and chose this restaurant during Restaurant Week. We were seated at a great booth. We ordered cocktails and I wanted a nice tequila but wasn't sure what to order. The bartender came over to recommend a few. We each had salad, a wedge and Caesar. I ordered the Sea Bass and my husband ordered the Short Ribs. The sea bass was excellent. It was buttery and light in a sauce that was perfect. The short rib meat fell off the bone. It was a little dry and the sauce was a touch sweet. Meal portions were generous. The dessert course was Banana Nutella Spring Roll. It was good. The Nutella didn't stand out as hoped. A ginger passion sorbet was on the side. It added a unique flavor in a good way. Overall, it was a really good experience."

  • "We started with the wedge salad-- it was perfect. In fact, all the food was great. But our server committed a pet peeve of mine. The steaks (rib eye and 8 oz. filet) and asparagus were delivered. About 5 minutes later, after we reminded him that we were still waiting for potatoes and mushrooms, the potatoes arrived. A few minutes after that, the mushrooms. It was an otherwise excellent dining experience.The place is loud-- really loud-- but that didn't bother us. Also, we wanted to charge our dinner to our room and when the waiter dropped off our check, he didn't include a pen. We were in a back corner so we sat there for a good 10 minutes trying to flag someone down for a pen. The service was attentive and friendly, but fairly inefficient."

  • "This restaurant was absolutely wonderful! We had arrived an hour early from our reservation, and we were still able to be seated. The hostesses were very friendly. The table was set impeccably. Our server and his assistant were completely attentive and welcoming. They made friendly conversation, made sure our meal was perfect, and even gave us suggestions, that turned out being excellent. The restaurant manager even personally greeted us, which was very thoughtful, as many restaurant managers are no where to be seen in some places on the Strip. The restaurant had a performer for the evening, and it provided for a peaceful and romantic atmosphere. The food was delicious -- we had the Filet Mignon and the Filet Oscar. I DEFINITELY recommend!!"

  • "I chose this restaurant because I loved the menu and I wanted to have a special Valentine's day with my girlfriend. I called twice to double check before dining that the menu was the same and there were no changes (also to make sure it wasn't just a Valentine's day menu) and they assured me it was the same menu as always. Of course after we are seated the menu is not the same and they say the online one must be outdated?? They were nice enough to move us to a table not in the middle of the traffic area and the service was alright but the food was the WORST. I even went for their fancy $60 Kansas City Strip Steak which I couldn't even eat (I am the least picky eater on the planet as well). The sides were so salty we couldn't even eat them."

Instead of solving the problem they got security to escort us out of the restaurant and oh by the way still charged us!! A charge I'm disputing with my CC company."

When our main order did arrive it had an item that we did not order and had to ask for the correct item to be brought out. The signature steak on the menu was not worth the cost."

When the order finally came out (40 minutes later) steaks were cool to touch, over cooked, and one side was missing. We were told it would take 9 minutes for the side (Mac and cheese). We were finished with the steak when it did finally arrive. One meal was comped, but manager never came by to apologize. If the restaurant is reading this, please know that just because you pay for my food does not make things better. I am in Vegas. The money thing kind of goes out the window. I am seeking A GOOD EXPERIENCE. I don't get here often."

  • "Staying at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, we didn't think that there would be such a nice fine dining restaurant located on the property. The wait staff, especially our server Joe, was very attentive and helpful with the menu choices and making suggestions for items that we might like to try. Even when my mother's salmon was not quite cooked the way she liked it, it was taken away and returned to her satisfaction. They even offered her a complimentary shrimp cocktail while she waited for her dish. The creme brulee was excellent!!"

  • "for one the food was decent at best. service was not that great. but here is why i'm leaving such a scathing review. 1. Beware that gratuity is already included in your dining bill in this case it was for 3 people. They don't bother documenting that anywhere, you have to look very carefully at your bill to determine this. 2. All members of our party were charged several times in my case a charge for 110 and 127 not pending, charges actual charges. As for the other party members they were bill incorrect amounts and there were up to four transactions from this restaurant per person! what? Now the three of us get so spend my Saturday morning calling our banks to have to charges reversed."

  • "We booked this from Australia for New Years Eve as it seemed easily accessible from our hotel, Signature MGM but had a menu that catered for our adult children and ourselves. We were not disappointed. Our waiter made the evening a memorable event by being upbeat and fun, while helpful and knowledgeable. Our only "regret" was not realising that the steaks would just come on a plate by themselves, with no accompanying vegetables or other adornments, so we had to quickly order some fries and onions just to fill the men up. Steak, ribs and seafood platter were all extremely good quality as you would expect. Desserts were unbelievably good including 2 New Years Eve specials we ordered which would easily qualify as my best dessert ever."

  • "We had an amazing time! FRom the second we walked in, until we left, we were spoiled! Everyone was so attentive and friendly! Our waiter, Joe was fantastic! He was very friendly and had great input on the menu when we asked. We had the crab cake appetizer that was the best crab cake I have ever had. Then we had a nice fresh salad and lobster bisque soup. The soup was delicious. Two of my favorite foods are crab cakes and lobster bisque, and I can honestly say these were both the best I have had! a MUST if you go here! For our entree, we shared the Tomahawk 35 oz steak, It too was delicious! Cooked to perfection! For dessert, we had creme brulee that was so creamy! I just can't say enough about this place! 5 stars!!!!"

We both had the Filet's which were cooked perfect and tasty. Note that the sides are family style (i.e. 3 people could share one easily). Husband's NY strip was a good sized portion, cooked perfectly medium rare, and deliciously seasoned. My filet oscar was cooked perfectly medium rare, deliciously seasoned, and smothered in blue crab bernaise sauce, atop asparagus, very rich but I would definitely order it again! Side of macaroni and more cheese was very creamy and cheesy. No room for dessert :( Great meal for a decent price."
