"Second time here. Love this place. Great food and great wine list. Service is efficient and friendly. Simple salad, lettuce and pecans the dressing is amazing. I had the snapper, which was cooked perfect with a fava bean salad. And my husband had chicken ???(I can't remember) he enjoyed it regardless.

The road construction is still going on but don't let the stop you from going."

"Great neighborhood (+) restaurant. We love his place and don't live in the neighborhood. If we did, we would go all the time. We took my parents who are very particular about food and they thoroughly enjoyed it. The inside is well decorated, cozy, yet still has a trendy feel and the menu is varied and can suit both meat eaters and non meat eaters alike. I have been here a few times and so far I can only say great things. Highly recommended."

"Although there is construction going on in front of their door the food is worth it. We arrived from the back and early, they not only sat us before they were open but took great care of us in the mean time. We had the duck appitizer and it was amazing. I had a steak and it was done perfectly and the sides are wonderful. This is a great date night spot romantic and quiet but not pretentious."

"This was a last minute change from another restaurant and we were pleasantly surprised. First, if you are not familiar with the area finding the place might be difficult because of construction in the area. The food was great and the service very attentive. We had: The Tuna Tartar from the snack menu, very yummy and fresh. Then came the simple salad, which was different types of lettuce and pecans, what made it was the dressing (drinkable). I had the Osso Buco and my husband had the lamb, both of our main dishes were delicious. Everything was cooked to perfection. The only minus was the dessert, apple tart. There just wasn't enough apples. We will be back!!!"

"The food was very good -- the striped bass and the chicken piccata were big hits with our group. And our server was attentive without being obtrusive. We'll be visiting this restaurant often as long as their food and service stay as good as they are today."

"Dined here during a recent visit to Austin when most of the downtown restaurants were sold out. So glad we did! Service was attentive but not intrusive. Food was prepared and presented perfectly. Some of the portions were on the small side, but perfect when paired with an appetizer and salad."
