312 Chicago is centrally located the Loop Theater and Financial District. Every room offers iconic city views including City Hall, the Thompson Center, the Board of Trade and the Cadillac Palace Theater. The ambiance evokes the comfort and sophistication of a 1930’s supper club, but the style is pure, modern elegance with rich walnut wood and dramatic chandeliers.

  • "We had reservations for 5:30pm perfect time and location to Oriental Theater for our 7:00pm show for Motown! (a MUST SEE MUSICAL) The staff was exceptional, the food was authentic Italian cuisine, felt like we were in Italy. Made fresh pasta, rich sauces, and fantastic wine selection. Great place and would highly recommend 312."

  • "We were in town to see Motown-The Musical and wanted a great restaurant in the theatre district. A friend recommended 312 Chicago. Our party of 4 had a great experience. Marco took good care of us. Excellent craft drinks, food and dessert. I highly recommend the Pork tenderloin-my son's choice. The Bucatini (seafood pasta) and the salmon."

  • "Stopped by for dinner before a pre-broadway show. Got there early sat down right away. Needed time to review choices and the waiter gave us plenty of space. Fried seafood app was good and not too heavy. Wife had the risotto special and she loved it. Had the chicken ravioli and it was also good. Best thing was after leaving my debit card behind, they called within 10 minutes of leaving to let me know that I had left it behind at the restaurant."

  • "Excellent spot for dinner before a show in the Loop. Food was great, service is friendly and efficient."

  • "We went to 312 Chicago for an anniversary dinner. The host and waitress were attentive and wanted the evening to go well. The food was very good, I had the Carpaccio (nice plating), Salmon which was perfectly seared and cooked to medium rare (as a request) rather than medium and a vanilla cherry cheesecake. This was a 3 course meal that is offered with an optional wine pairing. There were a variety of other offering available for that special. We enjoyed our time there."

  • "Loop restaurant in business for a long time and very convenient to theaters/shopping. Out waiter was friendly and attentive, and after having an incompetent at another restaurant the previous night, we greatly appreciated this waiter's professionalism. The salmon on the $38 three-course special was excellent as were the accompanying vegies, and the flourless chocolate cake - dense, rich and very chocolatey. First time at this place but probably not my last."

  • "My husband and I were going to see a show in the theater district, and that is how we came to be at 312. What a find! I will suggest it to everyone I know. DELICIOUS wine and food and WOW!! The bread and tapenade= incredible. So close to the Oriental Theater that we didn't have to rush at all."

  • "Great location within walking distance of theaters. Server (Allison) did not ask if we had theater tickets, but she was efficient enough that it didn't matter - we had plenty of time. She made good recommendations, was very knowledgeable, and personable. Bacon wrapped shrimp (gamberoni) were good, though a bit dense and dry due to their huge size. My husband's salmon was perfectly seared and crisp on the outside, while beautifully moist on the inside. The best part was the flourless chocolate cake - decadent! Nice wine list, though overpriced -- have seen the same wines for less and much less elsewhere. Total bill was $135 for one three course dinner, one entree, a bottle of wine, and an after dinner coffee."

  • "it there was one thing to comment on would be the size of the booth for 4 people. For averge size people, the booth seemed cramped. otherwise the experience was excellent."

  • "The octopus carpaccio was excellent and the breaded seafood appetizer was good and it is hard to complain about the size but it was so big that my wife could not finish her main dish."

  • "Food and ambience were very good. Service also good, but the waiter did not pair the wines with the courses as was ordered. Nonetheless it was a great experience."

  • "312 Chicago has always served great food. It is definitely great if you want to impress for a business lunch or client. Not sure I would go there if I was paying out of my own pocket as it is fairly pricey. I paid $24 for a beef Risotto. It was great, but I wouldn't pay that for a lunch on my own."

  • "I had the pollo panini, and it blew my expectation. I sat on the terrace with a friend and enjoyed the views."
    Dined on 6/27/2014
  • "Very well run business with good atmosphere, a fine menu that is well executed, and very professional service. We had a great time meeting our son for lunch on a quick trip through Chicago. The Loop is hectic for out of town visitors, but valet parking is provided at a reasonable cost by the Hotel Allegro, adjacent to the restaurant."

  • "Located just down the street from several theaters, 312 Chicago is the perfect place to catch a pre show dinner or cocktail. Menu was varied and the service was attentive."

  • "The food was spectacular and the service was impressive. Based on our experience I would highly recommend this restaurant. We tried the signature Buffala appetizer and all three in the party loved it. Halibut, Parpadelle, and Tortelloni all wonderful and the Rucoletta salad as well."

  • "I had high hopes for a wonderful dinner. My kale salad was tough and had not been 'massaged' - overdressed and over salted. The pork loin was perfectly cooked , the asparagus had an odd flavor, the potatoes were almost delicious but too heavily salted. Service was attentive and well informed."

  • "We were looking for a place to have a nice, classy dinner before going to the Magic Parlour at The Palmer House, and found 312 to be a great location. Once we arrived, we were treated with nothing but courteous, attentive, and friendly staff members. Our waiter was on his game that night, and the entire wait staff got us in and out with plenty of time to spare to get to the show. The food was delicious, they were happy to accommodate our desire to share entrees, and gave great suggestions on what to try. Also made sure we knew where the bathrooms were!"

  • "We booked a table for 14 to celebrate our son's college graduation. Ages ranged from 18 to 80 and everyone loved it . We were given a large table on 2nd floor and the waiter and his support staff were friendly, very efficient, and seemed to anticipate what anyone might need. The food was amazing and plentiful. Could not have asked for a better restaurant!"

  • "From the moment we walked into the restaurant and were greeted to the time we left, we were well cared for by the wonderful wait staff. The wine selection is excellent and the waiter did a fine job making suggestions and answering any questions we had. I have a few dietary restrictions which your staff accommodated without any questions. The food arrived at just the right temperature and was delicious. Whatever we could not finish was wrapped up and waiting for us after we got back from our event that night. We would eat here again!"

  • "We discovered 312 a few years ago and continue to return as one of our stand by favorites. My wife and I generally try one of the chef's new creations each time we go. We've never been disappointed. Keep up the great work. The one suggestion I would pass along to the restaurant is to expand their martini options (it is limited for the adventurous)."

  • "Food was amazing. Came for special meal before show at Chicago Theater. Our server, Eric, was exceptional. My husband trusted him to bring out whatever he wanted on the menu and a wine to go with it. My husband was thrilled with his dinner and wine that was selected for him."
