  • "Enjoyed the food and really like decor...well done!! However, before dinner was over, karaoke began (about 8 PM) in bar area with most annoying noise for diners. Restaurant needs to decide what they want to be...or at least when they want to start bar noise....certainly should be AFTER dinner hours. There is no noise separation between the two...only a wall that goes up about 2/3's height of ceiling. Noise big issue for our table. Food quite good, very well presented, and service was pretty good. Great offering for the town and great for those traveling between Tulsa and Northwest Arkansas and doable drive for many willing to drive 20-25 minutes from Fayetteville (home to UofA) or Bentonville area."

Turnover appears to be the challenge as the entire waitstaff appeared new. Stop the revolving door of waitstaff, and I will become a regular."

  • "This was our first time at 28 but won't be our last. Drinks and food were good and we loved our server, Sydney and bartender, Phillip. My husband's pork was a bit too salty and my steak salad not as spicy as I expected. We were able to comfortably converse though the restaurant was packed with a wide range-in-age fellow patrons. Our overall experience was favorable!"

The presentation was beautiful and wait staff was very good and friendly. This is now one of my top 5 NW AR restaurants."

  • "We decided to drive over to celebrate our anniversary. Our choice of seating was in the bar or the dining room. We chose the dining room so it would be less noisy. It is very open so we could still hear the band. We were waited on right away and the wait staff was friendly. The appetizer ran a little late and we had to remind them to bring our bread. My wife had the salmon and felt like it was a littly dry and the quinoa was bland. The other side was great. I had the pork chop with sweet potatoes and brussel sprouts and it was very good. The wine the server recommened was good. We plan on going back. Overall it was worth the trip."

  • "The food was excellent....but I was less than impressed by the 1 hour wait from order time until our food arrived. The waiter was very busy and not very attentative to our table. He even tried to make jokes about how long we were waiting for our food. The table next to us came in 20 minutes after us and had dinner finished before we got our plates. On top of the wait, they were out of most of the entree selections for dinner. They only had a few entrees to chose from. The food was great, but I wouldn't eat there again if I had to be there 1 1/2 hours for dinner."

  • "The food was outstanding. We were there for New Year's Eve, so it was a fixed menu, but the options were balanced for a variety of tastes. The dishes are original, creative and delicious. Service was a little uneven. You could tell that the servers were fairly new or not used to serving in "better restaurants', but they were very pleasant, so it really didn't matter much. I am sure that it is difficult to find experienced people in Siloam Springs. The energy level was very high, overall, but I am not sure how it would be if it were not a holiday. The server said, "We are not usually this busy", even though the restaurant was only about 2/3 full. The bar area looks very nice. We will definitely make the drive again."

  • "We were surprised to find such a fabulous restaurant in a tiny town but 28 Springs constantly exceeds our expectations. The bar staff is knowledgeable, servers are prompt and friendly, ambiance is relaxing and interesting and the food is ever-amazing. The menu changes on a regular basis (often based on what is available locally or at the town's farmer's market) so there is always something new to sample. We love 28!"

  • "We were excited to come back to 28 Springs and even more so when we heard the menu was going to be more seasonal. One of my favorite restaurants is Season 52 that serves seasonal dishes. We had only eaten at your restaurant once last year and really loved the chicken dish and some other things we ordered. But this time the chicken dish didn't have the great sauce and the potatoes were watering and bland. The fish dish was lacking in flavor and the sides were not our favorite. Seemed overpriced for the quality of food we received. We are totally willing to pay good prices for good good. We hope you make some changes back to the way things were …..we would love to enjoy coming back again sometime."

Our waiter was friendly and über attentive, made some good recommendations, and the food was great. I very much want to return, and especially want to attend one of their wine dinners. They were setting up for one that evening, and the menu and wines looked fantastic. 28 Springs is a great spot for any occasion."

  • "Being from Siloam Springs and somewhat familiar with Chef James' work, I have been skeptical of 28 Springs from the first time I heard 'fine dining' and Siloam in the same sentence. Not for Chef James' lack of ability by any means, more for Siloam's receptiveness (or expected lack thereof) of something of this caliber. I expected to be a bit let down, only because I expected Siloam to have required Chef James to taper it down a notch. I was wrong. Siloam has changed drastically since I first moved away, and Chef James nailed it. From the ambiance, to the floor lay out, the open kitchen, the menu, the service, all of it. Every detail was covered flawlessly and exceeded my expectations. Kudos to Chef James and staff for their success."

  • "The food was good however, it is too expensive and you don't get very much. The pretzel bread was tasty but the exterior was too hard and the interior was dry and there was not enough butter provided. Not to mention a refill wasn't offered. I ordered a hamburger which also had a good flavor but the bun was again too hard and dry. Dijon mustard was provided, not regular yellow mustard and I wasn't given enough ketchup equivalent to the quantity of fries. Cheese wasn't offered as an add on when ordered either. The fries were good but had way too much seasoning on them so it made it almost too hard to enjoy. I was still hungry when I left. I would NOT recommend this restaraunt to an average customer. I'll stick with Callahan's."

  • "We come here every chance we get. Have had brunch (which has a very wide variety) 3 of the past 4 Sundays. It is quiet and peaceful, and we love the occasions when live music is playing. The bar tasting events are outstanding! I love to bring guests here for the first time, since the food is always great, and the presentation is always incredible. The servers are friendly and polite, and I believe are genuinely sold on the food they recommend. Lunch prices are not much more than any other restaurants in town, and each member of our diverse family can find something they like for dinner. Well done, Chef Miles James and crew!"

Miles James has opened another restaurant for the casual diner to experience great food. The restaurant is in a converted Buick dealership on a main street in the small town of Siloam Springs. It is absolutely worth the drive to experience the restaurant. Extensive beer, wine and cider selection."

  • "So close. Looked forward for a fun Sat night. Unfortunately they ran out of my dinner selection. Not crowded at all so not quite sure what happened. 2nd choice was good. Surf and turf. Family enjoyed their choices and desserts. Recommend for a change from bentonvillle. Comparable to River Grille, but fresher in decor and menu."
