272 Soluna Cafe & LoungeExcellent for before the operaWe've eaten here often before the opera or before a play at the Orpheum because it's close to both and the food is so good. But, be sure to leave yourself enough time, because service can be slow. We enjoyed the mixed greens salad, and those tiny little biscuit croutons were yummy. Crazy how a tiny touch like that can be so good. The wild mushroom and chicken risotto was delicious, as was the halibut with giant white limas. I have no idea where they found those beans, but they were amazing. The fish was perfectly seasoned. Yes, a good place. Wish we'd have had time for dessert.6/12/2013 12:00:00 AMUnderrated spot in townSoluna is a steal. I must go back to try the rest of the menu. Everything was great!!5/16/2013 12:00:00 AMpleasantly surprisedMy family and I enjoyed everything this little gem has to offer.
Their cocktails were different, but so delightful.
The food was amazing. We will definitely be back5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMMother Day MealI took Deborah to "272" for Mothers Day. You walk through the bar to dinning room in back. Has comfortable booths as well as regular table. We are boomers, so we did the booth. They feature Chicken and Waffles, which Deborah loves, good wine and great dessert. Well worth trying.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMSmall, ElegantThis is a small but lovely restaurant that is close enough to the ballet to walk to--a big plus. Food was delicious, drinks were generous, and the staff was polite, courteous, and knowledgeable.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMDon't go before symphonyThe food is excellent. Great onion soup, very different. Mac and Cheese is really great too. The problem is that the kitchen is obviously too small for the amount of tables and they can't keep up when the place is full. You have to allow an hour and half for dinner, at least on a Friday night, and that is just too long before going to the symphony.5/10/2013 12:00:00 AMOverall just greatWe have been twice and will be back again. Fish and chips is excellent as are all the dishes we have tried5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMBurgers to die for!Great early dinner - all five enjoyed but the 2 that had burgers raved5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMOrdered all the sides andOrdered all the sides and passes as appetizers. All great. Group of 7 all cleaned their plates. Portions good and food very tasty.4/23/2013 12:00:00 AMNot sure where the problemNot sure where the problem was but our reservation was for 6:30P and the restaurant had us scheduled at 5:45P and we almost lost our table. Which was strange because the restaurant was half empty throughout our whole meal, yet the Maitre'D asked us to wait for 10 minutes.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food, exemplary service,Great food, exemplary service, moderate prices, and the best scratch made lemonade in town.4/12/2013 12:00:00 AMgive this place a try!Great food. Relaxed atmosphere and pace. Loved the furnishings - comfy seats! Appreciated our waitperson.3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMNice cozy atmosphere. MakeNice cozy atmosphere. Make sure you are not in a rush, as the place can get very busy with a theatre and show crowd. Our waitress was very efficient, and always served with a warm smile. Food arrived hot, and was very flavorful. The cocktail list was also very creative. All in all a great experience.3/22/2013 12:00:00 AMgood spot near Fed.
