Great food, music, and customer service. Food was excellent. Staff was great. Only thing I didn't like was the dessert. Both items on the restaurant week menu were not good. Texture was too gooey for both items.

I loved the food but I wish during restaurant week they also served the regular menu because I was not that hungry for a 3 course meal. Other restaurants I have been to also serve the regular menu as well. I think if this was an option more people would come here.

Went there the other night for DRW. Two guests got the Salmon, which was really good. Two of us got the prime rib. Mine was not cooked properly (overcooked by a lot). And the seasonings weren't noticeable. Also ordered the shrimp/avocado appetizer. It was good, nothing memorable. Service here is VERY slow. Upon first arrival we ordered a drink at the bar to wait for our reservation. It took about 10 mins to even be acknowledged...and we were the ONLY ones sitting at the bar. Our waitress for proper dinner was polite and nice, but getting our first drinks took approx 10 more mins. And our food came out slow at first, then everything came almost on top of one another. Very scattered.

I have dined at the 24 Grille for a few years and I've always enjoyed my experience. The service has always been great and the food has always been fantastic. However, Restaurant Week 2014 ruined what I thought would be an introduction to the restaurant for a very special friend. The menu was VERY abbreviated...it is NOISY...CROWDED...typical dishes like "French Onion Soup" didn't have cheese...we were told that was because of Restaurant Week...WTH! The Risotto was not cooked with all the ingredients listed on the menu and the entire experience was not the best for someone who frequents this establishment. If OpenTable would have alerted me that Restaurant Week was happening, I would have booked another restaurant.

Since it was Detroit Restaurant Week I expected the participating restaurants to put their best foot forward. The entree came before the salad and had to be taken back when this was mentioned. The entree was evidently kept warm while the salad were eaten because the "rare" prime rib was well-done when served the second time. When this was mentioned, it was taken away and replaced with another sub-standard piece of meat. I often arrange groups for attendance at Detroit dinners and plays, operas, etc. and would not recommend the 24Grille when the best that could be said is that the salads were good.

Our reservation was for a 10 am Sunday brunch. When we arrived, we were told the food was not ready yet. We were seated and given mimosas and COLD coffee. After about 15 mins, the food was ready and we were shown into a dark room with serving dishes on tables. There were still no serving utensils out so we decided to have an omelette made for us. The cook actually picked up the tip jar and told us that's what it was in case we were interested. The service was non existent, there was more staff than customers but they were all standing around talking to one another. We paid $38/person for an omelette, and cold coffee. Not worth it, and not what I was expecting for a restaurant associated with a Westin hotel.

There were two of us in the group and we ordered an appetizer and two salads. After ordering, the food took 45 mins to arrive. The waitress was apologetic and she comp't us dessert for the long wait. I've been to 24 grille many times before, but it seems to be slipping in the service area. Good was great as usual, love the Mac & cheese.

Took my mom and Godmom to the brunch and it was simply ok. It was hard to find my waitress for refills on my mimosas and water and even harder to find her when I wanted to pay my bill. While walking through the buffet, I had to find someone to advise what certain items were as nothing was labeled, but the food did taste amazing. I will be back for regular dining but the buffet brunch is simply not worth it in my opinion.

My wife and I went to 24grille and it was about 30% full. We had reservations and were seated immediately. The waiter came to get our drink order but didn't bring the drink menu (which isn't a big deal). It took him 15 minutes to come back with it. Once he dropped it off, he disappeared for another 10 minutes. My wife had to ask the bus boy to have him come back. I was ready to leave at this point. Once he came back for our drink order, I ordered the porter and he asked me if I've ever had a porter before. I thought that was a weird question to ask someone. After that, he probably got the hint and was more attentive. Still, the damage was done. The food was good, but nothing special. Definitely not worth the $125 bill.

I visit Detroit once every few months and stay at the Westin Book Cadillac. We always eat at least one meal at the 24Grille during the week that we're in town. The food is really good, the service is excellent, and they have always accommodated us if we have large groups in town (we bring people from Germany, Switzerland, and/or China with us). I will continue to dine at 24Grille whenever I am in town not just because of the convenience of being in the hotel but also because the food is good.

Overall a good place to eat, I feel the wait staff is kind of young which makes for somewhat mediocre customer service - have to tell server more then once to bring place setting, that's kind of a given, one of my guest was perturbed to have our food placed in front on us but still was waiting for utensils. I feel The hostess needs to be responsible for if it's too much for the server, but the one thing that would have pleased me more would be to have CALAMARI as an appetizer option :)

I live for Sunday Funday, boozy brunch. I was pleased with this spot. Great location, good food, and 2hrs mimosa. The Omlete and catfish was delish and our server was awesome. However, the mimosa had no champaign at all, after 4 glasses we had to conclude it was just OJ although we were told otherwise. Please work on the ration of juice to champaign otherwise there is no Funday- just Sunday Brunch.

I went to 24 Grill for brunch twice in the coarse of a month. The first time I went with 6 friends and the food was delicious, fresh, and the resturaunt offered some unique selections like creamy cheese grits with jumbo shrimp and real crab meet for omlettes. This past Sunday my husband and I went and it was very average. The fruit didn't have a good selection, the desserts were lacking, the turkey sausage was drowning in water, and there weren't any grits. Overall, I like 24 Grill and would recommend it for brunch and dinner.

This place needs help and better management. Great location, but the menu is very limited. No manager on site to refill the syrup in the coke machine, the staff had to apologize because they didn't know how to do it. No regular napkins, so we got a stack of cocktail napkins. We didnt' get silverware right away because they were still washing some. The tables are jammed so close together, one guy behind me sounded like he was yelling in my ear and my son reached back to slightly stretch and hit the lady behind him because we were stuck so close to each other. We won't be back and we go to a ton of restaurants on a weekly basis all over the Detroit area...too bad because the location is great.

I have been to 24 Grille many times, and most times, I have had a great experiences. The food is good, unique and delicious. This past experience was not great. I went with a group of 4 and we went before a show we were seeing downtown and kind of on a time crunch. I am not sure what happened but it took us 30 minutes to even get drinks, and over an hour before our food came. Not until we got the manager, did they bring our food, which was cold. The manager did comp a large portion of our bill, but we were late for the show and left a little unhappy. Again, could have been an off night, but was disappointing.

The food was subpar. My starter salad was missing ingredients. We were not offered pepper until we asked for it. Entree was ok - nothing to write home about. Mine needed salt and there was none on the table and server was no where to be found. The service not that great. We waited over 20 mintues for our dessert to come out. The table next to us left after sitting for over 40 minutes without recieving a starter or salad. The managers response was, "ok i'll go get your drink bill and figure something out." Instead of taking care of the clients 2 beers and apologizing. The service over all was not very professional and not very good. I probably would not go back because i didnt find it worth my money.

The service was great and the food was awesome! It was very loud - I imagine that is due to the large crowd as a result of the event. It was also kind of cramped. I am not sure if they put in extra tables to accomodate more diners. This was my first time visiting this restaurant. Outside of the noise and tight space, I would definitely go here again.

Went on restaurant week. Food was OK, not great for the price. Salad came to the table before our appetizer and had to ask for it. The salad, main course and dessert items were wrong. First time I go to a restaurant and all items brought were wrong. Once check came in, noticed the waiter had our bill wrong. That explains it. Glad there were only a few items on the menu. Our waiter told us he was having a meltdown, and apologized for leaving us waiting for 30 min to bring us the dessert after picking up the main course plates. The restaurant was almost empty when we finish our dinner so it was not that it was super busy at the time. Not impressed, not planning to go back any time soon.

Unfortunately, it felt as if 24Grille put limited thought into providing tasty food selections for Restaurant Week. Shrimp appetizer was just shrimp cocktail in a glass, Caesar salad was ok but pasta meal was terrible. Then the apple tart was warmed apples with a scoop of ice cream and a cannoli shell next to it. Also, the servicer was nice but really slow. I was extremely disappointed and have no plans to return.
