We had to wait almost 40 minutes to be seated for our reservation. 15 minutes for our drinks once we were seated. The food was good but all came cold. And the best they could do was remove the added gratuity because we had a party of eight.

Heard great things about their brunch but there wasn't a huge selection of foods to choose from and the mimosas were mostly juice. But the servers said there were some things different this particular day.. No prime rib, etc. I will give it one more try.

1st time my gf & I went (2012) the whole experience was great! We went again recently & the food was great. Actually, the steak bite appetizers is why we came back for this last time. We arrived with reservations & were sat immediately. We sat for over 5 minutes & no one greeted us. I went & grabbed the hostess & she grabbed a different server to "help". Our temp server was great. She tried to make up for the other server by saying they were in a shift change, which was nice of her to try to cover, but it was 10pm. She brought our drinks promptly. Our food came out & near the end of the meal, our actual server finally came by for a sec. He was then complained about to the manager from the table next to us. Also, the steakbites were just ok

We went for dinner during restaurant week---hoping that they would put their best foot forward for this promotional week, but not so. Service was not good, very understaffed, the food was fair---if I had made it at home, I would have been a bit disappointed in it, but for a restaurant I would expect more. It wasn't terrible, but not worth going out for.

Went here for Detroit Rest week. Our waitress was absolutely horrible and unprofessional.Got our orders wrong as well as every other table she was waiting on, took FOREVER to get drinks and anything else she had to bring to the table. She would just stand there with the food in her hand and stare at us until we took the plates from her. Also got our bills wrong. The food was terrible. french onion soup was a huge bowl full of onions, little broth,a piece of bread and a tiny piece of shaved cheese on top. Disgusting.prime rib was decent, but the sides were bland and gross. The desserts, chocolate bread pudding were gross as well none of us ate that either. We will NEVER be going back here again, don't waste your time or money.

We had a horrible experience at 24Grille. The food was awful, I had prime rib and half of the steak was fat. My husband had the salmon and he said it wasn't very good. The service was horrible, it took two hours to get our food and their were no apologies from our waitress. We had friends join us for a drink and it took so long for the waitress to come over and get their drink order. He went to the bar to order their drinks. when the waitress found out that they ordered their drinks from the bar she was so rude. We valeted our car at the hotel and they forgot about us! I had to go inside to ask what was going on with our car and they said it would be right out, however, it took another 30 mins.

I wish I could upload the photo of our desert! Not sure where to start on this one...My sister and I always look forward to D.R.W. and this experience was VERY disappointing. Both of our Second Course options were over cooked and not very well seasoned; so we asked for a to go plate to get to the desert, in hopes that we could have one pleasant option for the evening. The Chocolate Bread Pudding presentation was disgusting, we had to build up the courage to have a single bite. We left after that bite and had desert at another location!

I'm not sure if everything was worse than normal because of restaurant week but we did not have good experience. Our reservation was at 7:30 but we weren't seated until 8:00. Our waitress was nice but everything was soooo slow. She didn't come take our food order for almost a half hour and then we waited over an hour for our food AFTER we ordered. We didn't leave until almost 10:30. 3 hours for dinner is crazy. I ordered the airline chicken and it was awful. It should have been called "airplane" chicken because that's what it tasted like!! I was not happy paying 30$ for a mini piece of dried out chicken. I will not be going back there, and I am not picky.

We spent over 2 hours here - not because we were enjoying the night, lingering over food and drinks, but because we had to wait and wait and wait for: silverware, food (which arrive cold and not all at the same time), rolls, wine. Our waitress, when she bothered to show up, was surly. The only time she made an effort to put on her game face was when she could tell we were visibly annoyed. Too late. Risotto was AWFUL, serving size of chicken was ridiculously small. Honestly, we go to places during Detroit Restaurant Week to scope out new favorites - it does not feel good to be out $90.00 AND have had a lousy time. Thank God we were with some of our favorite people - they were the only redeeming thing about the night.

First of all - the Maitre D is a charming young fella who always makes the entry to dining at 24Grille awesome. The service and the waitstaff at 24 Grille was good: warm and attentive. However, the menu offerings the night we returned for visit were very limited. It was during Detroit Restaurant Week (DRW); and, unlike other DRW restaurants, we were forced to order from the DRW menu. While the ambiance and intentions of the waitstaff were positive, our food selections were just fair. The chicken was tiny and flavorless. The cajun prime rib was tough. Disappointed in 24Grille's DRW attempt. Would recommend to others as I have been before and enjoyed it greatly. JUST DONT GO DURING DRW.

Went there the other night for DRW. Two guests got the Salmon, which was really good. Two of us got the prime rib. Mine was not cooked properly (overcooked by a lot). And the seasonings weren't noticeable. Also ordered the shrimp/avocado appetizer. It was good, nothing memorable. Service here is VERY slow. Upon first arrival we ordered a drink at the bar to wait for our reservation. It took about 10 mins to even be acknowledged...and we were the ONLY ones sitting at the bar. Our waitress for proper dinner was polite and nice, but getting our first drinks took approx 10 more mins. And our food came out slow at first, then everything came almost on top of one another. Very scattered.

I have dined at the 24 Grille for a few years and I've always enjoyed my experience. The service has always been great and the food has always been fantastic. However, Restaurant Week 2014 ruined what I thought would be an introduction to the restaurant for a very special friend. The menu was VERY abbreviated...it is NOISY...CROWDED...typical dishes like "French Onion Soup" didn't have cheese...we were told that was because of Restaurant Week...WTH! The Risotto was not cooked with all the ingredients listed on the menu and the entire experience was not the best for someone who frequents this establishment. If OpenTable would have alerted me that Restaurant Week was happening, I would have booked another restaurant.

    Disappointed
    Dined on 9/19/2014
Since it was Detroit Restaurant Week I expected the participating restaurants to put their best foot forward. The entree came before the salad and had to be taken back when this was mentioned. The entree was evidently kept warm while the salad were eaten because the "rare" prime rib was well-done when served the second time. When this was mentioned, it was taken away and replaced with another sub-standard piece of meat. I often arrange groups for attendance at Detroit dinners and plays, operas, etc. and would not recommend the 24Grille when the best that could be said is that the salads were good.

Our reservation was for a 10 am Sunday brunch. When we arrived, we were told the food was not ready yet. We were seated and given mimosas and COLD coffee. After about 15 mins, the food was ready and we were shown into a dark room with serving dishes on tables. There were still no serving utensils out so we decided to have an omelette made for us. The cook actually picked up the tip jar and told us that's what it was in case we were interested. The service was non existent, there was more staff than customers but they were all standing around talking to one another. We paid $38/person for an omelette, and cold coffee. Not worth it, and not what I was expecting for a restaurant associated with a Westin hotel.

Took my mom and Godmom to the brunch and it was simply ok. It was hard to find my waitress for refills on my mimosas and water and even harder to find her when I wanted to pay my bill. While walking through the buffet, I had to find someone to advise what certain items were as nothing was labeled, but the food did taste amazing. I will be back for regular dining but the buffet brunch is simply not worth it in my opinion.
