21 Club21 is a top pickWent there last night to celebrate my daughter's college graduation. The service was attentive the food superb and the overall experience was great. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone celebrating a special occasion.5/20/2013 12:00:00 AMSpecial occasionPerfection in every way - food , ambience and everything else.5/17/2013 12:00:00 AMONE OF NYC'S BESTWe have always loved 21.. 21 has the ability to maintain great service and old NYC ambiance while forever turning out quite fine food. We had sauteed Dover sole last night and it was perfect. Our waiter was excellent and the sommelier suggested a just right wine pairing for us. He followed that one with an amazing and obscure dessert wine from Uruguay that was fantastic. Who knew?. Well, I could go on but you get the idea. I recall that 21 was one of Frank Sinatra's favorite spots in the city and I would dare say that he would not be disappointed today. We always enjoy getting dressed up for an evening out in New York and can depend on having a great time at 21!5/16/2013 12:00:00 AMThe Old World21 Club has a retro feel to it. The style and service are of high quality and haven't changed in years. The menu includes some things that probably weren't there ten or twenty years ago but the food is still predominantly "old line" in the best sense of that term. Also a great bar. A really excellent restaurant that isn't trying to be up to date.5/16/2013 12:00:00 AMSuperb overallGreat atmosphere, food and service; a true gem. A New York experience., natives and vistors should have..5/14/2013 12:00:00 AMFood is excellent, but ifFood is excellent, but if you tell your waiter you are going to the theater, you have to be sure that he places the orders so that you get your meal in a timely fashion. The kitchen can be slow, and this has happened multiple times with plenty of notice.5/9/2013 12:00:00 AMA Perennial Favorite-Worth theTabPerennially festive, cheerful, comfortable, engaging; well executed food and seasonable offerings, much to love and a marvelous atmosphere to bask in; a stiff but "worth-it" tab...5/2/2013 12:00:00 AMQuintessentially NYCVery New York cenetric, lively, pulsating, very good food, although pricy ($15 for sides!! and glasses of wine $18-20!!)...................
can be forgiven but strictly corporate driven prices.
Always love to go..........................4/30/2013 12:00:00 AMA classic New York dinnerA classic New York dinner experience. Side-by-side seating at banquette tables allows for both intimacy and people watching. Highly professional and gracious staff. A gem.4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMThe service was amazing. The service was amazing. My boys (12 & 15) really appreciated such a special place and wonderful meal. It was a wonderful place.4/3/2013 12:00:00 AMWe went on a Friday in LentWe went on a Friday in Lent so we all ate seafood and it was outstanding. I has lump crabmeat to start and red snapper with lobster risotto special and my husband had the octopus to start and the Dover sole. They have a huge wine list and the staff were very friendly. The decor (i.e. old football helmuts and mini cars, planes and trucks hanging from the ceiling) was great too.3/15/2013 12:00:00 AMA NY CLASSICA NEW YORK CLASSIC THAT CONTINUES TO BE A HOT SPOT. GREAT SPOT FOR A LUNCH MEETING. A MUST RESERVATION DURING THE HOLIDAYS.3/14/2013 12:00:00 AMGood for business meetingsFun environment for small business meetings with clients. Food is expensive but good.2/26/2013 12:00:00 AMPerfect for lunchThis historic restaurant reminds you of the classic New York before jeans & tee shirts usurped the culture. Everyone was well dressed. The restaurant week menu was a steal. The food was incredible. The service was polished and gracious. It was the best lunch I had had in NY in years.
We ate in the the first floor restaurant which I prefer. This is one of the last bastions of civility in NY. At $5, the coffee is pricey. The tables are a bit too close together, but that is the only drawback.1/30/2013 12:00:00 AMWe were asked 6 times on 20We were asked 6 times on 20 minutes if we were ready to order, even before we had our drink order. Food was good. When the check came, I received the listing of what we ordered (about $300), but received a charge slip for over $800, using my CC number. They reversed the wrong amount, but that appear on my CC, and commits that amount on my CC. Sloppy mistake for such an acclaimed restaurant.1/8/2013 12:00:00 AMHad our new year's eve dinnerHad our new year's eve dinner here and have been to this restaurant many times. We were a little disappointed that for new year's eve, they crammed the tables together so close that you felt like you were eating with the people next to you. Other than that, the food is consistently good here and the service attentive. This place is near many mid-town attractions and shopping and has a nice varied menu. I will definitely go back.12/31/2012 12:00:00 AM'21' is in a league of its'21' is in a league of its own. It is an wonderful blend of fascinating history, exceptional service, delicious food and remarkable clientele. The prix fixe menu option is a great value; but, at the end of the day, '21' is entirely about the uncommon blend of excellence.12/17/2012 12:00:00 AMFabulous Experience! AfterFabulous Experience! After 83 years, the 21 Club opened on a holiday for the first time this Thanksgiving. We happened to have the first seating and by default, are now part of the historical record! What an amazing place - rich with history and old-fashioned charm. Kyle was an amazing waiter as well as the entire wait staff. Our pre-fixed meal was fantastic but it was the interaction with the staff and the stories they told that made the experience so memorable. We thought that it might have an air of condescension and associated high-brow antics, but nothing could be further from the truth. Everyone was warm and engaging - it was a dining experience at its finest. We cannot wait to return!11/22/2012 12:00:00 AM
