  • "We go here often and are never disappointed in the food and wine. Service varies from average to excellent, although always great follow-up from the manager. On the last visit we both had the salmon with beet/carrot purée and it was fantastic. Vanilla crème brulée for dessert was just a tiny bit too sugary, but still perfectly prepared and very delicious. 20 Brix is definitely one of our top restaurants in the Cincinnati area, and best in the Northeast; I would recommend it to anyone. Go ahead and order a bottle off their excellent wine list - they have wine doggie bags to take home what you can't finish!"

  • "My friend and I had a light supper after a shopping night. We enjoyed sitting outside because the weather was lovely. We were famished and we had to wait for our food for 40 (!) minutes. Thank goodness for the really good bread and flavored butter that accompanied our Prosecco. When we mentioned the long wait to our waitress she did not apologize, just stated that "everyone showed up at the same time." We should have appreciated an apology and being kept informed on what was going on. But we certainly had a lot of time and catch up and when the food (lobster roll and salmon) arrived they were really good, hopefully not just because we were relay hungry. But we had eaten there before and will certainly come again."

  • "We were looking forward to trying 20 Brix for the first time. From the service to the food ~ it was all very disappointing except for the carrot cake desert. Not sure if it was the restaurant or our server, but they didn't go out of their way at all nor did they try to accommodate. Besides the food being mediocre, and VERY overpriced it took over an hour and a half to receive our dinner! Needless to say we will never be going back and we would never recommend this restaurant to anyone. In fact we have already told over a dozen people about our awful experience and have no problem telling a few dozen more! There are way too many other good restaurants to go have a nice dinner were they will actually appreciate your business & go above"

  • "We had dined at 20 Brix before, but sat outside for the first time--found my new favorite outdoor dining spot here. My scallops were delicious, but my husband had the special, a take on a southern crawfish boil, and it was so-so (and not much food for the $32.00 price). Loved our waiter, but at one point my husband had neither water nor alcohol left--ordered wine before dinner that came toward the end of our meal. Still, overall the place is worth another try: great atmosphere, great wine and beer lists, inventive food, personable service."

  • "20 BRIX has been on our list of restaurants to try for a long time, but we wish we had skipped it as we couldn't have been more disappointed with the menu and food. The menu is VERY limited for a restaurant in this price range--salmon was the only fish offered and there were no chicken or pasta entree options (except a chicken sandwich). Every entree and sandwich includes too many ingredients/polarizing flavors to the extent that my husband ordered a hamburger (which he never does). At $25, my 3 scallops should have been spectacular but they weren't. I would pass on 20 BRIX--unless you just want to enjoy a nice bottle of wine. Ironically, their wine/beer menu covers 8+ pages while the entire food menu covers one. A bit out of balance?"

  • "While my husband and I often have lunch here we have been disappointed with the seating at dinner. This time we asked for a place in the bar section or in the front 2/3 of the room to avoid the back part toward the kitchen where it can get noisy. As we were celebrating our anniversary we wanted a more private spot than the patio although we often sit on the patio for lunch. We had a wonderful time; the food was very good. My husband had steak which he really liked, I had scallops and thought the cabbage a bit too sweet for the sweetness of the scallops but the dish was still very, very good. We split a kale salad which is one of our favorites. A nice glass of wine and a lovely, light cake and coffee to finish off our evening."

  • "While my food was good, my partner is a regular guy & everything on the menu had lots of sauces he wasn't familiar with or was topped with spinach & the like. We enjoyed the crabcake appetizer, but they didn't even have any "regular guy" beers. The beers were mostly craft beers & they had only 2 others - Hudy & Pabst, I think; no Budweiser, Miller Lite, etc. While I'm more experimental with my food choices, and like just about everything, he prefers a simple pork chop or a steak with a baked potato, for example. He did order the strip steak, but I tasted it & it was chewy & flavorless; we cook better steaks on the grill that we buy from Kroger."

We also had a cauliflower app that was tasty. we shared a bottle of 38$ wine & had a chocolate powderless dessert. Needless to say we left compltetely stuffed! A really nice neighborhood gem. Our reservations was for 8:30 on sat eve & we walked right in & were seated. Staff was great. our smaller sized 2 person booth was a tittle small at the feet but ok overall. We ended up spending about $115"

Now the experience is fully visualized with top tier entrees, amazing service (Thanks, Jeffrey!!!), and the ever present wine selection with which the servers are well acquainted. It was a great evening and we will be retuning for our next night out and about. Thanks again, 20 Brix!"

  • "When dining at 20 Brix, I did not find that it lived up to its reputation. When dining our server spent more time going over the wine list than the menu, and then never took our drink orders. Additionally our server never came by to check on us. Out of the 4 meals, only 1 was received well. The two different sandwiches that were ordered were not good at all. The chicken sandwich was unwieldy with a drumstick stuck on top of the sandwich which just added to its greasiness, and eventually along with the burger had to be eaten with a knife and fork. If you are looking for a place to have wine and maybe a bite to eat, I'm sure this place would be fantastic. However if you want a nice meal, I would look someplace else."
