  • "Eaten at 20 Brix 6 times since opened. Invited another couple to enjoy. Waiter said new menu and he would help us with it. After we read the menu and ingredients, + side dishes, it was difficult to make a decision. How do you select a meal in a restaurant when you don't like brussel sprouts or cauliflower or peppers or cabbage? Good news (wish we had selected) is they serve burgers, yes they do. I sure miss the jumbo shrimp and pasta from the early years. They do not have potatoes except french fries, and the $10 salads have iceburg lettuce, or argula, and not romaine. We ordered the salmon, the scallops, the crab cakes, and another dish. Everyone seeks an adventure for dinner, but the bottom line at our table was "maybe no encore." "

I started at Amy Kirchen Boutique and worked my way down to the restaurant, which make for a fun few hours in Milford. Chef Paul does an amazing job with unique tastes and vibrant flavors, I recommend the Kale Salad, Brussel Sprouts, and Shrimp & Grits!"

  • "20Brix is definitely a "Foodie" type of place. Their seasonal selections were creative and unique. Our waiter was top notch. His knowledge of the menu and preparation got us excited to make our choices. He made us feel comfortable and was very attentive. We loved his clear passion for food and the various wine that was on the extensive list. It was treat and would highly recommend it. We also enjoyed walking the village afterwards."

  • "We love this restaurant! We have never had a bad experience and we have been there many times. We had a superb Petit Verdot from Virginia, which is representative of the unusual gems that are offered. The wine list has loads of variety and something for everyone with regard to price. The charcuterie and cheese plate was a splendid starter with many different choices. I had the brined pork chop special and if there is such a thing as alimentary bliss, I experienced it. Definitely one of the top two pork chops I've ever had. My wife had the burger which was outstanding and we shared some brussel sprouts which were loaded with flavor. If you like inventive, flavorful food and a very good wine selection, you must go."

Prices were on the high side, but not out of the ordinary for the quality of the food. Service was very good."

  • "I recently celebrated a friend's birthday at 20 Brix. I have to say it could not have been a more pleasant experience. All 5 of us enjoyed our dinner. I had the Crab Cakes and they were delicious. The wine selection is amazing. Atmosphere and service wonderful. The manager came over several times to make sure everything was enjoyable. I plan to return often."

  • "Food and service both very good, but wine/corkage policies are inconsistent to anything I have even seen. $15 corkage fee for a $57 bottle we purchased from your OWN wine store's selection? Server said the fee was "discretionary". We will use better "discretion" next time in choosing our next dinner out. Would have been better to bring my own bottle, and pay corkage. Never have seen a restaurant with such a great wine reputation have an inconsistent corkage policy."

  • "We received a gift card for 20 Brix for Christmas and it was our first time to dine there but we will definitely return. I had the Duck Liver Pate appetizer (best I have ever had), scallops and desert. Our party of 4 had no complaints whatsoever. None of us had wine with dinner but the wine list is huge for those that are interested. The restaurant is not cheap but is reasonably priced for the quality of food and service. The food is ala carte so be prepared to spend $100 for a party of 2 and more if you like expensive wine."

  • "Came to 20 Brix just after they opened years ago - enjoyed it but lost touch. Came back again on a whim due to prompt from OT. Really appreciated the Sommelier's attentive service and impromptu tasting!! Two items we would not have picked and certainly not have paired...The Freakshow Cabernet and the top cut Cheeseburger are now a new favorite combination of ours!! Cant wait to come back with friends."

  • "The restaurant is located in the quaint town of Milford just east of Cincinnati. The restaurant has been nicely renovated with large window. We were running late so we called and the host said no worries he would just move it back for us. Upon arrival our table was indeed ready and we were seated promptly. This was our first time visiting and we received excellent recommendation from our waitress. We started off with the soup & it was delicious. I could've eaten another bowl. I then had the crabcakes with fruit (or vegetables). My wife had the chicken salad that was light & flavorful w/fries. The portions were just the right size & we even shared a warm stuffed carrot cake which was awesome. We plan to go back with the kids in a few weeks"

  • "We come from time to time as a treat to ourselves. Food, service, and ambiance is perfect. Inside it is warm and comfortable and you can have an intimate conversation without having to talk over the din in so many restaurants. We are thankful the location is in our town. I grew up hear and at a younger time in life, in the old building, I used to get my hair cut. Quite a nice improvement for me!"

We ate, sipped wine and enjoyed pleasant conversation for 3 1/2 hours and, even though the placed was packed by the time we left, at no point did anyone try to rush us along. Robin was our server and was very friendly, helpful and attentive. The fried chicken and waffles were very good, but the cheeseburger was amazing. I would also recommend the charcuterie platter which is big enough for 4 to share. I will definitely take my wife here again and have already suggested it to some of our friends."

  • "I've come here several times and the best meals I've had were the simplest ones. They do salads and appetizers better than entrees. Each entree I've had has me excited for a five star experience based on the description but always disappoints me. It really comes down to the execution of the dish. Either the flavors don't meld well (who puts broccoli with scallops?) or each part isn't cooked quite right (under done potatoes). The food is good, don't get me wrong, but it's not to the level I would expect at this restaurant and not worth the money. This is why I tend to go there to get a great bottle of wine and a few small dishes which they usually do well. This keeps the bill relatively cheap and I leave more satisfied with the food."

I would highly recommed this place for anyone who loves to taste and try different wines, and enjoys season cuisine that is locally sourced."
