We had a great dining experience. The food was excellent. I had the butternut squash fettucini and it was outstanding. The scallops were delicious and the oysters were excellent. Billy, the manager/server was very polite and friendly and made the experience even greater. We were really looking forward to sitting by the fire since it was a chilly evening, but the fire was not going for some reason. It would have added to the overall ambiance. Regardless , we had a wonderful time and will definitely be going back.

This was a charming little restaurant almost in the middle of nowhere. But for it being so far out of the way, the tables were filled - I assume it is a popular local hangout. The room was warmed by a large wood burning fireplace, adding to the coziness. The food was excellent. I ordered the sea bass, which was the special that night. Even though there was a lag time between appetizer and main course, the quality of the food made up for any minor glitches. They take pride in the fact that all of their desserts are made at the restaurant. I ordered the Tiramisu, which was not a traditional one with ladyfingers and soaked in booze, but it was good all the same. If you bought a Living Social coupon - like I did, you won't be disappointed.

We go to 2 Bird Cafe a lot and have always had wonderful service no matter where we are seated. Typically our breakfasts are good but this time I was very disappointed in my pork chop and egg breakfast. The pork chops were very dry and a tad overly done. Our friend was disappointed with his steak and egg breakfast for the same reason.

"
Great rustic setting! Weather permitting, the patio looks inviting. It was too cold on our vist, so we settled in the main dining area, near the stone fireplace. We had a delicious and abundant brunch of grilled trout and eggs, home fries, and fresh squeezed orange juice. The coffee and the toast were just OK. The service, casual but efficient. A great choice for taking a break while exploring the area!
