Or, visit the bar for a stiff pour of your favorite bourbon, scotch or whiskey, while admiring the burned scotch and whiskey barrels adorning the ceiling. Bar and lounge seats 31.

  • "To my wife for our 8 year anniversary and couldn't have been happier. Very enjoyable experience"

  • "Been to many restraunts Just about every upscale restraunt there is. My experience was great. Food was great. On a scale from one to ten I would say overall it's a ten"

  • "The taste was very good, but my steak was a little under-done for the way I like medium-well. The prices are a little high but guess that's what puts it a step above other places. Overall, it was a good experience. My favorite is the way the bar tender mixes the drinks. Had the Veaux Carre which is my favorite for now on."

  • "Overall good dining experience...nice dinner portions...both steaks prepared to our liking...sweet potato gnocchi were different and really good...many menu options...good wine and drink menu also... service was good but not outstanding...really nice atmosphere and enjoyable dining room...we do not have any hesitation to return for another dinner at this establishment.. About the only thing that could be a concern to others is they serve soda in a bottle so no free refills."

  • "This is our second visit to 18 Steak. We were there celebrating my son's 21st birthday and it was great. When I made my reservation I let them know it was his birthday. From the moment we walked in my son was greeted with Happy Birthday and this continued with our wait staff. Our waitress made wonderful recommendations and the dessert (which was free for his birthday) was topped off with a festive sparkler of sorts. Then our waitress' helper (you are assigned 2 wait staff at this restaurant) brought our Limoncello shots (again on the house) since it was his 21st birthday. We left full of great food, spirits & laughter. I highly recommend it."

  • "We were there last year for the night before Mardi Gras - the place was packed. Service was wonderful -- food terrific. This year night before Mardi Gras - place empty - service AWFUL -- ordered a 2nd glass of wine never saw it -- never remembered I ordered it. Had to almost beg for water. Food was okay but not up-to-par with last year -- how could it go down so fast!!!! Beautiful ambience -- such a waster. And it was not cheap for 4 people."

  • "The food was mediocre. The gumbo was terrible . Everything had too much salt. They brought my husband a lobster tail with his steak that he did NOT order and then the waiter said - "well, merry Christmas!" Then he came back and took the lobster tail off his plate if he wasn't going to pay for it! You call this fine dining!!!??? or any kind of good ediquette? The prices on menu were outrageous all across the board. The waiter tried to make it a good dining experience but I would never eat there again!"

  • "The service was fine until it was time to get out check. We told our server, Geremy that we had tickets for Buddy Guy at 8p and that we had to be out on time. It took almost twenty minutes. We had to get up and go to the hostess and tell her to put it on out room. Geremy showed up and said that there were computer problems. We walked in the theatre just as Mr. Guy was coming on stage."

  • "We took our daughter and son in law to dinner. They were visiting from out of town and wanted to go to the casino. We had a wonderful dinner. Our table was quiet and by a window looking out at the Muddy Mississippi! We had appetizers, steaks for everyone and several sides. Didn't try desserts. It was a nice evening. We will return."

  • "The cold seafood appetizer for 2 or more was fantastic and a great value. With a cup of soup or a salad, that makes a great meal! Some of the other dishes, both appetizers and entrees, were "hit and miss" - some good and just okay on each plate."

  • "This restaurant is inside the L'Auberge Casino in BR. They have a lively bar, which is thankfully between the casino floor and outside the restaurant. The cuisine is steakhouse with a Louisiana twist. And then the chef twists it again. For example, their "grautin" potatoes are NOT the Au Gratin most folks are familiar with. Highly recommended."

  • "Quality of food was way below par in comparison to other steakhouses in the New Orleans area in the same price range."

  • "This was the 4th time we had been to 18 Steak and it is really horrible. I keep trying to give it another chance, but now I am done. The food was overcooked, the potatoes were horrible. Even the dessert was bad. Our reservations were at 8 and we did not get served until 9:30. Really bad experience. They need to get it together."

  • "The wine selection was limited with prices not in keeping with quality of the wines"

  • "We had to wait for 15-20 min for service, but everyone was very apologetic and we received a free app and dessert. Our waiter was wonderfully attentive. The food was phenomenal. We had shrimp and grits and filet with mushrooms and potatoes. Thank you for a wonderful Valentine's."
    Dined on 2/15/2014
  • "The food was not worth the money you pay. We've had much better food at a lower end restaurant & paid half the price. We were very disappointed. The service however was awesome!! Our server was very understanding & kept a great attitude when we told him about our disappointment in the food. Would not recommend eating here. Maybe would for drinks! We did like the ambience!"

  • "Food was decent quality and presentation was good, but nothing was served hot...it would be generous to say it was served warm. I had to send my soup back to get heated and it made a tremendous difference in flavor. We did not send the rest of our food back because we figured the "just above room temperature" was just the way they did things. Prices and atmosphere make this restaurant a competitor to Ruth's Chris, Sullivan's or Flemings, but food experience was no match. Not a good value for your money. If they would just serve hot food hot, the difference in value between this restaurant and their competitors would likely not be as drastic. They desperately need to figure that out."

  • "My wife and I have eaten great steaks across the country and 18Steak is now up there with the best. The steak is excellent, service top notch and the wine list has most great wines (Cakebread, Dukehorn, Shafer, Silveroak, etc). We split the 10oz filet with lobster tail pairing with a bottle of 2010 Dukehorn. Not a cheap meal, but worth it for a special occasion."

  • "We had a filet with fois gras butter, duck breast, and lobster spring rolls. The food was great. We never got bread, the filet was supposed to come with bernaise sauce, and the people next to us were actually asked if they could get up and move to a different table to make room for a different party in exchange for dessert to go."

  • "Pompano cooked beyond recognition, dry and tasteless. Artichoke salad cooked until leaves were hard and dried out. It was almost like someone put our food in a microwave and forgot it was there. The first time I ate there I said it would be the last. I had to be pressured into going a second time. But never again. If you want a good experience go to Sullivan's."
