Catering: We have bulk offerings of our most popular dishes that are available for pick-up with notice. We also can do custom menus.
Private Party Facilities: We have 6 different rooms available of various sizes, each with its own distinct feel and look of a restored 217 yr old Federal Era mansion. We do not charge any fee for use of the room, only food and beverage. As usual there is 5% tax and 20% gratuity. The Dining and Living rooms are a 14 min and 25 maximum. The Hunt and Old Kitchen have 9 min and 14 max. The Library has 20 min and 35 max. The Tavern has a 30 min. and 55/60 max. We specialize in corporate and social functions and have been doing so for 36 years. Guests who have held engagement parties, wedding showers, rehearsal dinners, baby showers, communions, graduations and anniversaries; come back year after year to ensure themselves of an affair to remember and to entrust its success to us. We do all types of corporate functions such as financial, pharmacy, are held with us. All our menus are on our website. Contact us for details.

Public Transit: Downtown Westboro commuter rail and take a 5 minute cab or car ride to the 1790 Restaurant.
Parking: Private Lot
Parking Details: The house is surrounded by three lots, one across Park Street in front of Hilton Photography, one right behind building. Over twice the amount of spaces for the seats. Coming up route 9 going east we are a quick turn right after route 135 on to Park street.

"We tried the easter buffet at 1790 this year and it was a huge waste of money. The hostess was the rudest person and the food was barely warm and tasted horrid. Such a waste of money and time."

"Great food, Lisa is a great server but it took 1.5 hours to consume bread, apps and entree. We had to get our dessert to go. Arrived at 5:30, not busy at all, seated right away (I mentioned reservations which was ignored). Bread in 10 minutes, apps in 20 more, SLOW pace. Spinach and potatoes were warm, salmon was hot. Disappointing, since I hadn't been here in 20 years. Now I know why :("

"We were there on a rainy Sunday afternoon and it was not very busy. The staff were attentive and friendly. The menu included a selection of 3-course meals at a very good price and a Sunday prime rib special. My crabcake appetizer was a good sized cake of fresh crabmeat nicely seasoned, but would have better if the crabmeat was in chunks rather than in small pieces. My chicken piccata was very good -- very flavorful sauce, 2 chicken breasts perfectly cooked and a bed of pasta with sauteed tomatoes and spinach mixed in. If the dish had included homemade pasta, I would have bumped my rating up to excellent. My husband's meal consisted of a good-sized slab of prime rib, nicely seasoned and served with garlic mashed potatoes and green beans."

"I live just a few miles down the road from the 1790 House and I always have great expectations. The problem is that although the food can be very good and the service average, the place has all the energy of morgue. The small colonial rooms make it difficult to get the group vibe going. We went out on Saturday, St. Partick's day for dinner and they had no Irish special! What?! The waitress was unaware of the 4 course special which had been in my 1790 Newsletter. So we decided not to bother with the place in the future. There are other restaurants in the area that fulfill the lively ambiance we enjoy when dinning out."

"Service was the best of the best: Prompt, yet not over-bearing, courtious, and helpful with recommendation of specialty drinks!

Food was a delicacy and restaurant was clean and well-appointed.

"I've been to 1790 twice and had wonderful experiences! The restaurant is a quaint, converted house. The food is absolutely delicious. The ambiance is elegant without being stuffy or overdone. I would highly recommend the French Onion soup as an appetizer. Absolutely superb!!"

"I have been going to this restaurant for years for that SPECIAL occasion and have never been disappointed until this visit. I made this reservtion for 5:45 on Sunday through Open Table and when we arrived I realized that we where the only customers for the evening. We ordered drinks and ordered 4 meals from the menu. Uptown Mac & Cheese was the worst. My guest left 90% of this meal behind. Panko Herbed Haddock smelt fishy and was not eaten. I told the waitress 2 out of the 4 meals where eaten when she cleaned off the table, but she didn't have anything to say? I am beginning to understand why we where the only customers there. Too bad it use to be excellent. Never again!"
