Legendary Local Dining Landmark and Marina. Casual dining with fresh seafood. DockSide Café, offers live music on weekends, while watching the daily feeding of Giant Silver Tarpons at our docks. Incredibly creative dining upstairs in a historic setting of early Fort Lauderdale and the marina, a "hush-hush" naval research facility in WW II. Complimentary valet parking and dock for your boat. • "Very nice menu and food was great. Very good wine list. "

  • "This was our second time eating here. This time we wanted to eat on the inside of the restaurant and experience the full menu. AMAZING is all we can say. Our wait staff was on top of their game, the food was just divine, and the view was wonderful. Can't wait to return."
    Dined on 4/18/2014
  • "We went to celebrate my birthday in their upstairs, exclusive dining room. I'd been there before years ago and loved it, but it was not the same. Fish dishes were too fussy and salty. Service was excellent."
    Dined on 3/7/2014
  • "We had a wonderful meal with a great view of the intercoastal."
    Dined on 4/16/2014
  • "Once again we had a terrific meal at 15th Street Fisheries. Their food and service is excellent as is the view. All in all a favorite "go to" restaurant when friends are in from out of town. Always impressive."
    Dined on 4/14/2014
  • "The food was delicious and very tasty even though I don't really care for seafood. My friends that I went with also enjoyed their food and atmosphere. It has a beautiful view of the bay."
    Dined on 4/12/2014
  • "While upstairs is more refined, downstairs is more casual for family with children. Had a great time. Variety for all"

  • "My wife and I were on holiday in Fort Lauderdale and as it was near my wifes birthday I decided to treat her to a special dinner I had read about 15th Street Fisheries in various guide books at the hotel so made a reservation Everything was first class, food wine service it was an excellent and memorable evening Would recommend this restaurant to anyone"

  • "We have been frequenting this establishment for over twenty years. Enjoyed the window table overlooking the intra-coastal. However , must add that the entrée prices were above average and my mahi mahi dinner was overcooked. Wine serving was generous and moderately priced."

  • "Great food and service, and the view was terrific!"

  • "We sat in the bar while we were waiting for a table and it was excellent service and excellent drinks and excellent starters. The location is very scenic and the food is great we had an awesome time."

  • "The location is one of the top spots around Ft Lauderdale and has history in the area. View is spectacular and the restaurant offers some really fresh fish dishes set up very nice. The inside has the ambiance of fine dinning and the outside bar/deck has a more laid back hangout eating and drinking area. Outside area is great for the kids since the local fish know its a feeding area."

  • "Dined with friends on the 2nd floor, view was nice. Service was good food was just ok a bit pricy for the quality. Stone Crab was previously frozen and tasteless . Tuna Tartare appetizer was ok my husband had the sea bass which was ok as well. Nothing outstanding will stick to first floor fir lunch maybe."

  • "We were on a two night stay in Fort Lauderdale before embarking on a cruise. We found the food, service and view to be one of the highlights of our vacation."
    Dined on 3/28/2014
  • "Tuna tartare; conch chowder; Key West snapper; Provençal scallops... all outstanding. Service was very good (just a bit delayed; we were a 2-top and they seated our entire upstairs room right around the time we arrived). I am a fan because The Fisheries is a truly local place with excellent seafood (also local!). Far better than any chain."

  • "We are from Michigan and whenever we are in Fort Lauderdale we have always had dinner at the 15th Street Fisheries. We have been coming for nearly 25 years and the last couple of times the food was not so great but are happy to say that it now better than ever!!!! Looks like you have expanded the bar down stairs and fixed things up everywhere great job and we will be back next time we are in Lauderdale......"

  • "disappointed in quality of food for price. on line menu did not match current menu selection which was one of reasons for going there. view was nice. service was fine but expected better because of reputation of deceased owner Professor Hurst who taught hospitality at FIU"

  • "The view at 15th Street Fisheries is amazing! We take our out of town guests from the office here regularly. It's fun to watch the tarpon and jack fish from the pier and if you're lucky, Steven Spielberg's yacht might be parked across the way."

  • "A full house on a Saturday night, promptly seated with a reservation. Good salads, soup, fresh fish, delicious assortment of breads/rolls. Had an upstairs window table with an incredible view of the water….felt like we were on a boat! The next table was a party of 12 (a bit noisy) but we still had an enjoyable dining experience with excellent service. ;-)"

  • "I always get the chowder and rate the restaurant. Yours is too bacon tasting, and needs more clams. Not that good and too thick."
    Dined on 3/28/2014
  • "We loved the food; it was outstanding. The scallops were extra special with a wonderful sauce on top! The waiters were friendly and always there when you needed them. We ate in the upstairs dining room which had a wonderful view and you could see the boats and look down at the fish which come in there to be fed. All in all, it was a very good experience!"

  • "Food was prepared very well and tasted great. Drinks and appetizers came out quick, but the wait for the entrée bordered on an hour-fifteen after that. I loved the fact that the restaurant was quiet - makes for much better dinner conversation. The staff was very nice. Accommodations are a tad dumpy considering the prices, guess you are paying for the waterfront view of the 17 Street Causeway Bridge."

  • "The night we were there the computers were down. They refused to seat until the reservation system was operational. We waited 30 min and finally insisted we be seated. We finally were.....reluctantly. The food and service was very good, but very expensive."

  • ""We continue to come back to this incredible gem for dinners and it's because of the impeccable dining experience 15th Street Fisheries provides. Top notch seafood combined with an attentive waitstaff and fantastic ambience is what sets it apart from all others on South Florida. BRAVO!""

  • "This was my first time there recommended by a friend. I was told not to judge until the evening was over. I totally understood why I was told that! We each enjoyed a 2 lb Maine Lobster. It was so good that it makes me hungry talking about it! I'm pleased to tell you that I will definitely return to this restaurant. The atmosphere was on the quieter side & very nice. One of the things I really liked the most after spending a lot of money, the restaurant did not rush me out of there like many today still do. Staff was exceptional. Our waitresses worked as a team. It truly was a delightful evening. We are referring the the upstairs 15th Street Fisheries Dining Room looking out on the intracoastal waterway! Gorgeous at night time!"

  • "The entire dining experience was top notch. The special occasion was for my husband's birthday. He made the choice following our first dining experience on Valentine's day. Both servers were very attentive and friendly. At the end of the evening, I was given a bouquet of flowers from the tables to take home."

  • "We dined upstairs in the higher cost restaurant rather than the noisy dockside outdoors. I thought the prices were too high and the red snapper with couscous was out of balance. Too much couscous and too little fish. I generally don't like combining fish and meat ingredients, but I gave it a try. Bacon fat and fish just don't combine as far as I'm concerned. This was my mistake. My wife had the swordfish and she said for the money Blue Moon Fish in Coral Springs was superior to 15th Street Fish. Unfortunately we become enamored by proximity to water when it comes to seafood. But being located on the water doesn't mean much in the world of seafood restaurants."

  • "Nice place Lots of history Amazing location, ability to hand feed Tarpon while u wait for your table Must see accessible by water taxi"

  • "Enjoyed a wonderful dinner along the water. We sat outside in the upper level so you can enjoy the boats coming and going while dining. Delicious fish options. Everything was fresh and prepared well. We tried the crab cakes, angel hair shrimp and scallops which were all great. There was a piano player inside which added a nice touch to our experience. Service was great! After, we went downstairs to walk along the dock. There was livelier music down there with a higher energy atmosphere that would be fun too."

  • "Overlooking the pier, this restaurant is aptly situated. The downstairs is more of a pub/bar scene where the upstairs is more formal dining. We brought our 8 month old upstairs (which in hindsight we probably would not do again) but he was well behaved and staff were very accommodating. Right off the water taxi stop too."

  • "Food was good but took a long time to be prepared. Different menus on different floors which is confusing and disappointing because we want an appetizer not available on the floor we were on. Valet service was terrible. Waited 10 minutes to drop off. Bar area where we waited smelled fishy"

  • "Lovely spot on the intercostal. Greeted pleasantly upon arrival. Directed to elevator to go upstairs. My error in not identifying that we were bringing a somewhat feeble 90 year old along of so we were taken on a long trek to a lovely table. Hostess was charming. Waiter was prompt, well informed on all items on menu and the wine list Food was delightful- well prepared , lovely plating, and served HOT. One guest had the seafood and angel hair dish which was the envy of the table Another had Florida snapper and raved over the flavor profiles. Two had desserts and two had coffee drinks to the evening. Wonderful experimce and a wonderful spot to share time, florida and to have fun Can wholeheartedly reccomend this spot to any and all"

  • "We picked up a friend late at the airport and 15th street Fisheries was the nice place to go to. The restaurant is nicely lit late at night by the water. If you get the window seat you will need a jacket as it gets a bit chilly. The view was quite nice. The menu has mostly seafood dishes. The quality of the food is ok. There was no wow factor considering the price tag is quite steep. Maybe it was late at night the food seemed to be served a bit on the cold side. Service was great! We had a baby stroller and they accommodated us in a nice seating area with the extra space. We would like to go back during the day and give this place a try again."

  • "I am sorry to admit but my wife and I don't get out much so when we are splurging for a sitter and an evening out we want it to be perfect. And that's what we got! Food was great service was great. Perfect all around. We also took the Water Taxi to the restaurant from the Downtown station which made for an even more romantic and interesting evening."

  • "This is our favorite dining spot to take guests. The food is always good, the service exceptional and the views show off some of the best of South Florida. Ask for porch seating if it's available. Views are best from here."

  • "We LOVE the 15th Street Fisherie. We don't usually have date nights - especially during tax season for a CPA, but we chose this restaurant because the food is excellent, the ambiance is lovely, the wait staff is friendly, courteous and efficient - and helped us to enjoy a very special evening together."
