Don't be dismayed by the entrance .The entrance to this great restaurant may throw you off; but once you climb to the second story, the ambiance is much more elegant than disco. The service is excellent, the food unique and tasty but it got very loud after 8:00 p.m.6/8/2013 12:00:00 AMOutstanding!Outstanding is the one word that can best describe the service and food. 1515 tops all the trendy "foodie" places in the Highlands, Downtown and Cherry Creek. Hands down - one of the best dining experiences you will have in Denver, and it's a must to indulge in one of their offered course meals. You will not be disappointed.6/6/2013 12:00:00 AMAlways OutstandingMy husband and I have dined here multiple times and each time are treated to a wonderful experience. The food is always wonderful and each server makes one feel as though he is only serving our table. We especially appreciate 1) The knowledge of the server regarding the details of the menu and having strong suggestions for wine pairing and 2) The presence of the owner on the floor, meeting each table and speaking with pride and knowledge regarding his food. There is a true team approach to providing a wonderful evening and completely without pretense.6/5/2013 12:00:00 AMTerrific chef who is veryTerrific chef who is very creative. 6-course and 8-course offerings created to show off the variety of ingredients, cooking methods, presentation, etc. Staff was very attentive. Note that most of the dining area is up a flight of stairs.6/5/2013 12:00:00 AMVery nice restaurantWe had been to this restaurant about 5 years ago and found it to be quite good! We were in the city for a concert the second time around and decided to try it again. We were not disappointed. The service was very good. The waiter explained everything to us and answered any questions we had. The food was very good and also had a little interest to it. A couple fun things that went with the first course and dessert. Quite yummy, for sure. We will definitely be back to 1515 again - just a neat little place!6/5/2013 12:00:00 AMSamplerWe tried the six-course sampler. Lots of variety, great preparation and presentation. We mentioned that we were on a schedule to attend the Symphony and the manager personally made sure the courses came out in a timely manner so we could get there with time to spare. I'll go back and try the rest of the menu.5/25/2013 12:00:00 AMOne of the great Denver restaurantsI can't believe we hadn't discovered 1515 earlier. The food was excellent, the service was stellar, and the overall experience couldn't be beat. I would highly recommend to anyone.5/20/2013 12:00:00 AMMy favorite RestaurantThe owners have been tweeking the ambience for years to achieve the comfortable elegance that makes it hard to leave. The food is world class and always interesting. The wine list and wine cellar is extensive. The service is just right -- whether you want privacy or help making choices.5/15/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat for Mother's day brunchHad a wonderful brunch experience. Food was great, and service exceptional. Will try again after this experience.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMWonderful Mother's Day Brunch!Really nice brunch at 1515! The food is artfully prepared and delicious. And it is a great deal! We've been to 1515 for dinner before, and absolutely love the creative entrees and desserts. Great wine list as well.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent Mother's day dinner! The three-course menu for Mother's Day was excellent!
Interesting menu, good taste, and elegant presentation.
The portion was also perfect. No left-over.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Mother's Day brunchPerfect arrangement for a Mother's Day brunch. Great menu selection with option for prix fixe three course meal. The complimentary rose to the mother was an excellent touch.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMDelicious!!I made reservations at 1515 for Mothers Day, and both my mom and I loved it. I had the salmon and she had the BLT crepe. The food was very well cooked and elegant for not an outrageous price. For dessert we got the vanilla tasting plate and the espresso + donuts. The desserts were divine. Not too much or overly sweet. Overall the food was great and so was the service. We would recommend it and will surely be visiting again soon!5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMMother's DayThe brunch for Mother's Day was great. We enjoyed the service and the food very much. The tables are well spaced so that you don't feel crowded in and you could have your own table conversation.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMSpectacularWe went to 1515 for Mother's Day bruch, everything was delicious, the service was superb and the desserts were best of all! Definitly will be back for regular menu dining!5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMTruly perfectWent for a business/social dinner. The evening could not have been more ideal. Bartender, Brandon, made a great bloody and was friendly without being overbearing. Server, Stephanie, made excellent recommendations and gave perfect service and the hostess wen the extra mile for us and hailed a cab. Highly recommend scallops, waygu, elk. The flavors were totally unique and satisfying. Thank you.5/9/2013 12:00:00 AMreturn trip to 1515We have been to 1515 before and enjoyed it. In the past, we did the chef's choice dinner, paired with wine -- which was absolutely fantastic. This time we did not (they require the entire table to participate if you're going to do this -- which kinda makes sense), and I must say -- although everything was good -- it didn't impress me as much as our previous trip there. Our server was friendly and didn't rush us. The wine list was robust. My husband started with the bisque -- which was outstanding. I started with the mussels, which were quite good. My husband then had the surf & turf; the lobster was slightly overcooked; the filet was nicely done. I had the short ribs, which fell off the bone.5/3/2013 12:00:00 AMIf you are someone who enjoysIf you are someone who enjoys an EXPERIENCE while dining, this is the place for you. I highly recommend the 8-course experience. It's a lot of food though, 2 of us shared it. Truly amazing, creative food served with an attentive, hands-on approach.5/2/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat atmosphere and delicious foodWe went to 1515 on a double date and had a great time. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was suitable for 20-somethings and business people too. We really enjoyed our time there and will not only go back but recommend it to everyone we know!5/2/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat meal!Went for my birthday, and I quite enjoyed the experience. I was greeted with a birthday card from the restaurant that was signed by all of the staff. That was much cooler than some lame gathering of the staff to sing me Happy Birthday. My wife and I started with a cheese platter appetizer, which I thought was quite expensive ($17), but overall it was pretty good. For our main courses I had a NY strip entree, my wife had the lamb chop entree. Both meals were perfectly cooked and tasted absolutely wonderful! For dessert we had an "Elvis" chocolate bar, which supposedly is designed off the rumor that everyday Elvis Presley would have a beanut butter, chocolate and bacon sandwich. Aside from the "powdered bacon" topping, it was awesome!5/2/2013 12:00:00 AMOutstanding Experience at 1515This was our first time dining at 1515 Restaurant, but it won't be our last! Each dish was amazingly delicious, the service was attentive but not smothering. They were out of the sparkling wine we ordered, but offered two alternatives and we were very pleased with our choice (a sparkling pinot noir.) We were 1/2 hour early for our reservation (first ones to arrive for a pre-concert dinner) but were happy we had the extra time to savor the experience. From the amuse-bouche to the salads, the entrees (for him, seared hake with spring green risotto; for her, hand-cut tagliatelle with roasted vegetables), to the shared dessert (kiwi-lichee cheesecake), we were wowed. The owner stopped by a few times to make sure we were happy -- bravo!4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMWonderful food! Amazing spotWonderful food! Amazing spot for a special date night--- anniversary or birthday type of deal. I love the French Quarter feel with the windows and balcony, and the French food was delicious too!4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMTry the tasting menu withTry the tasting menu with the wine pairings. The Chef's ingenious compositions were delightful and well complimented by terrific wines. Excellent and knowledgeable wait staff round a memorable dining experience.4/26/2013 12:00:00 AMWonderful evening in LODO1515 is one of my favorites in Lodo, and try to get there whenever in Denver. We had the 8-course chef's selection with wine pairings, an excellent choice. The Wagyo beef and the seared scallops are must haves. I've not been disappointed any of the many times I've dined at 1515. The wine selection is impressive, and allowing the sommelier choose is a good way to go. The entrance off Market street is not impressive, but the dining room upstairs is elegant.4/26/2013 12:00:00 AMWe had an excellent meal toWe had an excellent meal to celebrate my fiance's birthday. The lamb sous vide was very tender and flavorful. We were very happy with our cheese plate, as well. The restaurant was very accommodating in saving our table an extra fifteen minutes because we were running late (we called in advance). We will certainly return in the future!4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMThis was my second time eatingThis was my second time eating at 1515 and it was just as amazing the second go around when I already knew what to expect. The food is prepared and served in such a way that you can feel the love and care that has been put in to it in each bite. The meals are an ideal size also, big enough to quench your appetite but not so much that you feel stuffed when you finish the plate, and trust me... you will finish your plate.4/19/2013 12:00:00 AMThey open at 5pm for dinner,They open at 5pm for dinner, and our reservations for for 5:15pm so that we could get to the Avelanche game. Our waiter was very friendly and read our energy very well, and was able to pick up on our humor enough to crack a few jokes that we both got a laugh from. It was fairly empty as it was so early, which meant a nice quiet dining experience for my boyfriend and I. We usually have to speak very loudly accross the table. The food was excellent. I had the duck breast and he had the pork chop. After dinner when the owner came to check on how our service was, he remembered meeting my boyfriend a while back and brought us a nice tawney as a dessert. I would highly recommend it!4/19/2013 12:00:00 AM1515 is a Gem!Our 2nd dinner at 1515 was just as nice as the first one. This restaurant has a very creative chef/kitchen. Every course and entree we have had, during both visits, has been outstanding, and well-presented. Don't miss the Bison Short Rib entree. Killer desserts too! The service has been excellent each visit. The wait staff is very knowledgeable, friendly, prompt and yet unassuming. The wine list, now on iPads at the tables, has many excellent selections at various price points. Can't wait to go back again!4/12/2013 12:00:00 AMWonderfull expierence as always.Wonderfull expierence as always. Service and food were wonderful and the owner always check to make sure things are right. Will return soon.4/11/2013 12:00:00 AMFood was amazing! Menu wasFood was amazing! Menu was in transition to spring offering so we got to try some new items that were delicious! We were the youngest couple there by about 15 years but we had an amazing meal. The service was great, with stellar recommendations on food picks. We really enjoyed it and will go back the next time we want to treat ourselves!4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMWE WERE AMAZED BY THE LEVELWE WERE AMAZED BY THE LEVEL OF COOKING THAT CAME OUT OF THE KITCHEN. THE FOOD WAS PHENOMENAL AND WE WERE TREATED SO WELL.3/26/2013 12:00:00 AMIn town for a convention,In town for a convention, did a search on the internet for somewhere unique and notable to take 9 clients and colleagues. Although the interior decor could be dressed up a bit, it was the right choice. The food was fabulous, everyone raved about it and still talking about it the next day. Waiter was attentive and extremely knowledgeable about the preparation of the menu selections. Will go back when in Denver again!3/21/2013 12:00:00 AM1515 out of 10Unfortunately when I cam to the restaurant there was no maitre d' at the door to direct me to the actual dining room, which I believe is downstairs. However, this turned out to my fortune. I ate at the bar, the service there was 15 out of 10. The food was excellent and affordably priced. I had the lobster and garlic soup and a burger. The atmosphere was chill. You often don't think you can go to a nice restaurant with haute cuisine but still feel casual, but at 1515 you can. I will definitely be coming back here again.3/19/2013 12:00:00 AMFood was incredible, everythingFood was incredible, everything we had was delectable. All of the flavors complimented each other very well. Our server, Stephanie, provided excellent service and was very accommodating. We will definitely be back, this restaurant is highly recommended.3/15/2013 12:00:00 AMMy husband and I think ofMy husband and I think of 1515 as our go-to special occasion place. They never dissapoint us! It is consistently fresh, inventive, and delicious food. The wine pairings are unmatched by any other restaurant. Any time we get a wine pairing at another restaurant, we always compare it to 1515 and it never rivals it. Excellent!3/3/2013 12:00:00 AMA hidden gemOutstanding food prepared and presented in the most unique ways. We enjoyed Wagyu beef that we cooked ourselves at the table on a hot stone which was both fun and also one of the best things I have ever tasted. The entrees were cooked to perfection, the staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive. Excellent cocktails and extensive wine menu. This was our second time dining at 1515 and we will most certainly be back.8/17/2012 12:00:00 AM
