"We had an excellent experience at 1515. The restaurant seemed cold when we arrived, and my wife felt that the air conditioning was blowing directly on her. The staff could not have been more helpful in moving us to another table and turning off the AC system. After the meal was over, we agreed that the service and food were among the very best we have experienced since moving to Denver two years agofrom the east coast. We would definitely return to 1515."

"The food was wonderful! We went for Easter Brunch, and "1515" was a great choice, especially if one values quality over quantity. In other words, no big buffet, but a selection of interesting and inventive choices at a really reasonable price. The "lobster Benedict" was great, and the lamb cooked "sous vide" was the best preparation of lamb anyone at our table had ever tasted. The appetizers and desserts were equally unusual and delicious. We intend to return to for a non-holiday dinner to try some of the chef's other wonderful variations on classic food. The service was friendly and attentive."

"1515 has a great wine list. But they didn't have the first wine we selected, and only one bottle of the second. They also had a marvelous duck broth with sausage on the menu, but actually served a butternut squash soup, wi no explanation why e switch occurred. I loved the place in the past, but this was just so-so."

"Our family (7 people) went to the Easter Brunch. While the menu was limited, the food was simply outstanding. Mostly, we all ordered different things, and we all liked what was served. In the French tradition, the servings were small, and because the food was so good, the small serving size was a disappointment. They were obviously overtaxed by the large number of people celebrating Easter Brunch with them, so the service was slow. I sense the kitchen ability to produce a lot of food quickly was more of the problem than the wait staff which seemed to be working very hard. This would have been an outstanding place for a more "normal" situation. I would go again (but probably not for a busy Brunch day)."

"Easter brunch was perfect and enjoyed every selection we had (& shared)! I had chosen the restaurant for the advertised Tempura Lobster Benedict and wasn't disappointed! It was just busy enough at 2 PM to still make it festive, but we were able to have good conversation without noise competition. Our waiter was great - and patient! Great experience."

"The food is always great at 1515! If you're a larger group, just keep in mind the noise levels. We were put in a different section of the restaurant and the acoustics were horrible. Well worth it though for the delish food!"

"My wife and I took our daughter here for here 16th birthday dinner. The staff was amazing, the atmosphere was very comfortable, live music playing in the background, but not too loud so you could actually talk, very nice. The food was a 10 out of 10! Perfect. Kelly our waitress was the best, explained all the dishes when they were brought out, was very professinal and always made sure everyhing was ok without being disruptive. 10 out of 10 as well for Kelly!!! The owner came out and checked on us towards the end as he did with all tables. He made a point to make sure eveything was not just good, but perfect. We did not feel like just another customer,but were made to feel special. I can tell they all worked hard so all were giving the"

"Upon first glance at the menu I was excited to see "real" vegetables like sprouts, artichokes, greens, and leeks. However when the dishes arrived at the table, the vegetables were used only as garnishes. I had salmon and it was wasn't particularly flavorful, which could have been remedied by including more vegetables in the meal. Also, the decor isn't cohesive between the two floors, which threw me off. Overall it was a decent experience for the price but does not stand out in my mind as somewhere I'd recommend."

"We did the Chefs Tasting menu and were impressed with the range of offerings. The duck broth soup and the Scallops were terrific. The service was great. Knowledgeable staff who were friendly and took the time to have a conversation. We were there on a Monday night and so was not overly busy. Nice to meet the owner and to have him take an interest in what we thought about the food was great."
