Our recipe is made to perfection with as many fresh cranberries as we can cram into one special jelly. Make Mrs. Miller's cranberry jelly a tradition at your breakfast table, at Thanksgiving dinner, and of course, on top of every irresistibly sweet dessert.fest. I was NOT disappointed. Everything was Fantastic from the excellent service to the amazing food. I've already told everyone that this is the place to visit from Vancouver, Canada!!!"

  • "settings which looked a lot like a hospital cafeteria. Lack of intimacy, did not contribute to a fine dining experience. While aspiring to achieve great things, 13 moons falls short. Try the steakhouse at Silver Reef Casino further north up the coast for an improved fine dining experience. Servings were on the small size and it was slow, after the salad it was close to half and hour before we saw our main courses. The 18oz rib eye steak arrived at a cooler temperature than I normally expect a fresh cooked steak to be. Don't imagine we'll be back any time soon."

  • "The crab cake appetizer was excellent. Line-caught halibut was a bit rubbery, but probably because it was a late evening dinner . The other entree at the table was ciapinno which was loaded with seafood but could have used a more distinctive touch to the broth. Service was poor overall."

  • "Overall the dining experience was very good. My wife and I ordered the 5-course Valentines day special and each had different "Kobe" steak dinners. My steak was not as tender as I would have expected but was cooked perfectly as ordered-rare. All of the side dishes were excellent. The service was great."

The crab cakes were delicious and the portion was generous; the wild salmon was moist—order it med-rare, and wonderful; the filet was good, but I should have ordered it rare, not medium-rare. The mashed potatoes were ok, but not that exciting, though highly recommended by the server; the vegetables (squash, etc.) were fresh & very good; the Caesar salad was wonderful—yes, with anchovies! These were fresh and not stinky or horribly salty. Just right! My biggest disappointment was the Bananas Foster -like desert. It was supposed to be served over custard but it had melted by the time it arrived. The sauce was just a big glop. The server kindly brought me some ice cream, but it was still just a melty mess."

  • "My wife and I have been to the 13Moons on several occasions and had always been impressed with the quality of the food, the value, good service, the wine list, and the view. Unfortunately, a few months back we encountered some problems with our meal. After extensive delays and service issues, the food came all at once rather than staggered by courses. Most of it was cool to cold. The waitress at the time acknowledged the problems and blamed it on a new chef (which turned out not to be the case). We hesitated to go back, but we are glad that we gave them another chance. The meal and the service (Nikki was our waitress) was superb and very accommodating. Well done 13moons!"

  • "We've had dinner at 13 Moons three times, and each time the meals have been superb. Two nights ago, each one in our party of four ordered steak, and each steak was done to perfection. The service was earnestly friendly, though I would advise our waitress to refrain from saying "all right!" every time she approaches the table, and to be sure and not interrupt conversations when asking if everything is okay or announcing dessert options. These quibbles aside, however, her desire to please was abundantly evident, the food was first rate, and it all added up to an enjoyable experience."

  • "13 Moons in the Swinomish Hotel/Casino is a northwest charming dining venue. With tables by the floor to ceiling windows and calming views of the water and table in quiet corners, this dining room is cozy and comfortable and a great place for a quiet dinner for two or a gathering of friends. The food was so delicious with great variety. The seafood is very fresh or else it is not served. The service was right on... We will return and suggest this as a great place for our LaConner area friends."

The bartender and hostess were exceptionally friendly and personable. Our server was adept but somewhat reserved.. My compliant is the room it's self. All earth tones made the room as friendly as a elementary school cafeteria. Please....get some color in there! Banish the tans and browns."

Sat at a table by the window where we enjoyed watching the fire in the outdoor fireplace (we'd like to return when the weather is warmer to enjoy the outdoor dining and view). The food was very good - my filet was cooked perfectly! The only disappointment was the rolls - they weren't quite up to the rest of the food. Service was excellent - very friendly! Will return and will recommend to friends."

  • "The online reservation was made with ease and preferred seating request was fulfilled. When we arrived at the swinomish lodge we checked into our bay view room for the romantic package and my 13 Moon reservation was confirmed for 7 pm. We were greeted with a smiling face and taken to our preferred window seating. The whole experience was fantastic and the food was exquisite!"

  • "I visited on Christmas evening for what I anticipated would be a great dining experience. Perhaps it didn't turn out that way because of being short staffed. The service left something to be desired. The food, however, was better than most in the Skagit Valley. I was pleasantly surprised by the Crab Cakes, crab cocktail, and my steak. My companions also raved about the Penn Cove Mussels and the Clam Linguini. It would have been a better dining experience if the Casino had constructed the restaurant to be closed off from the hotel and casino and smoke free. Smoke from those locations was drifting up in to the restaurant making the experience less than pleasant. I'd go back again when it's warmer and dine outside."

  • "We were looking for a great place to have Christmas Dinner and thought we would give 13 Moons a try since we had been wanting to eat there anyway. We were not disappointed! The Filet Mignon was fork tender and so full of flavor. The presentation was so excellent we could hardly wait to take our first bite! The service was a little lacking in that we had to ask for bread plates twice and I asked for a refill on water which I never got."

  • "This my favorite restaurant to eat. The service is great, the view is unparalleled, the food is awesome. Having eaten here a few times, it's difficult to decide what you want for dinner (it's all so good). The menu changes according to the local harvest, there are always regular menu items as well. The exhibition kitchen is real nice, you can talk to the chef's and watch your steak cook. Don't pass up a chance to dine here."

  • "It was a little higher prices then I has imagined it would be. We went there for my husbands birthday with a group of our friends. My husbands steak was over cooked, but some of our friends had a different cit of meat that was a bit thicker and they said it was excellent. I figured it was just the cut that he chose. The desserts were excellent! If I go back I would probably just get dessert. The service was also great. Very knowledgable and personable. All and all it was a descent visit."
