A word from 111 Chop House
The idea behind One Eleven Chop House was to establish a Chicago-style steakhouse right here in Worcester. The elegance and sophistication of the decor complements some of the best-tasting steaks and chops you'll find anywhere. All of our cuts are either certified prime-grade or in the top 10% of the choice grade. And they're all expertly prepared. Choose from traditional steaks done right or less traditional favorites, such as Long Island Duck Two Ways, Sirloin Encrusted in Black Pepper with a Shallot Brandy Cream Sauce, or a Mixed Grill of Filet Mignon, Confit of Duck and Blackened Shrimp.

Diner Reviews
  • "It was very top class to find car valet service on a rainy night and to walk into a vibrant restaurant, with lots of energy around the bar, high ceilings, wood floor, booths as well as tables, and an open kitchen. The team of waitstaff was friendly, fun, helpful, and attentive, the food delicious. I had the 111 Chopped Salad and a delightful ice cold Riesling for dessert which was the perfect ending. My dining friend and I were really pleased with the entire experience and definitely would go back."

  • "As always, loved dining at 111. The food was absolutely delicious. My husband and I were commenting on how we much prefer to go to 111 over other steak houses (including Capital Grille). 111 is our favorite date spot. Service was fantastic as always. Servers were very polite and amicable. Pleasant experience and cant wait to go back."

  • "This restaurant never fails to impress. The waitstaff is very knowledgeable and friendly. Every diner at the table found the food phenomenal as well as the service. Great place to take friends or coworkers who have never been if you want to impress."

  • "Great place - one of my worcester favorites!! Always a great atmosphere, great staff and great food. Oh and great wine list..Has my favorite Pinot Noir - Caymus Meomi!"

  • "Food was delicious, perfectly cooked med. rare steak, delicious salads which came with our meal. Service was wonderful...2 waiters who checked on us frequently. Seating was very comfortable...leather booth. The only improvement that I could suggest is provide something yummy for the hot baked bread...olive oil seems a little boring. It would have been nice to have a special spread to go on the bread or a herb garlic and cheese mixture to dip bread into."

  • "We were a group of 6 -- 3 couples. We arrived first and we were seated immediately. The waiter served us water right away. As each couple arrive they were served water as well. I elected the wedge of lettuce with bleu cheese and crumbles. The dressing tasted as good as my mother's homemade bleu cheese dressing. I had the surf and turf which had a petit filet and 4 baked stuffed shrimp (stuffed with scallops). The filet was very tender and cooked exactly as I asked, well done, and very tasty. A delicious meal had by all. Each table gets two servers and they were both impeccable. My only complaint is that it is noisy."

  • "We go to the Chop House once a year while visiting Worcester. We always enjoy our experience. The food is consistently good with a wide range of dishes to satisfy every palate. The wings and the calamari appetizers were excellent! And my swordfish was cooked perfectly"

  • "We went to 111 Chop House for dinner on a Wednesday night and were surprised at how crowded the restaurant was. Our steaks were prepared to perfection, the appetizers and desserts were delicious and the service was great. Our server recommended appetizers that were great for the four of us to share. We will definitely return, especially to celebrate special occasions. The bang, bang shrimp appetizer is a great choice. It's hard to get a reservation, so it's a good idea to make one a week or two in advance."

  • "My son is a Holy Cross student and its a must when we come to town. We would go regardless as the menu is varied for all tastes and the atmosphere attracts all ages. The innovative bar menu for drinks and appetizers is a pleasant surprise. The staff is young, friendly and attentive without being overbearing. We have never felt rushed to leave . Valet parking is reasonable and convenient as the parking can be scarce on the weekends."

  • "Outstanding steaks (we've never tried anything but the steaks), side dishes are ala carte, and also very good. A spectacular wine selectin and the service is crisp, attentive, friendly and experienced."

  • "I have nothing negative to say about this place, everything from the menu, wine list, service to the ambiance was exceptional. My husband and I were there for our 2nd visit and took my brother and mother to celebrate my brother's birthday. From the moment we walked in the front door we felt like VIP's. We did move our table from near the open kitchen to a comfortable booth, the host was quick to accommodate. Our Waiter Gregory was very professional and pleasant. He surprised my brother with a birthday dessert. Very nice touch. We will be back."

  • "Wonderful food and service. Little pricey but if you have no limit everything was well executed from the oysters to the wagyuh beef to the wonderful bread pudding. Thanks again"

  • "A couple of weeks ago we dined during Restaurant Week. It is a real treat to get such an outstanding meal at a such a discounted price. Our steaks were cooked perfectly to order and the accompaniments excellent. One of our steaks turned out to be rather tough, but as soon as we mentioned it, our server said she would bring another one which she did very promptly . The second steak was fine. A bit later the manager came over to see if it was satisfactory. They were very accommodating. We very highly recommend 111. The deserts are always super although they did not come with the Restaurant week set menu."

  • "We'll be back. As longtime fans of Sole Proprieter, we decided to check out 111 Chop House. It was great. We really enjoyed our meal, and the service was outstanding."

  • "I have to say, after reading all of the stellar review I am a little bit disappointed. The food was just ok. For the price, it should be a lot better. The mashed potatoes with blue cheese were divine. However, for the main event, I got a bone in rib eye. I asked for medium rare and it came out overcooked. I sent it back and it cam out almost raw. A steak house should be able to cook a steak to perfection and at $36 per steak, that's what I expect."

  • "We thoroughly enjoyed the whole night. A drink at the bar first and a bottle of wine with dinner. The sushi was really good (and I am not a huge sushi person). We had beef short ribs and rib-eye au poivre. Delicious! Malik, our server, was great. Very attentive at the right times. Will definitely go back with friends."

  • "We were drawn here by the Worcester Restaurant week since this has always been on our "we'd love to eat there" list but have a new baby to pay for as well. Everything was fantastic! There was a limited menu because of the restaurant week but we enjoyed it thoroughly. The whole meal was exactly what I was hoping for from the appetizer - the soy ginger beef with soba noodles to the perfectly balanced arugula pear and walnut salad and finally the surf and turf that I was dying to take a picture of (but didn't) just so I could show people that I ate something just as awesome to look at as it was to eat. Paired with a bottle of wine that probably cost more than our meal and a delicious creme brulee for two it was a fantastic night all around."

  • "We went on the last day of Restaurant Week and had an outstanding meal. The Bang Bang shrimp appetizer was more than enough for two to share and excellent. The tomato bisque, salads and sirloin were equally outstanding. Finished it up with Apple Cobbler for dessert. The wait staff was extremely knowledgeable when recommending wine pairings. Pricing for wine was also moderate. We can't wait to go back!"

  • "Although 111 is on the louder side due to mostly wood furnishings the service keeps us going back. We decided to go during restaurant week last minute very late, around 10:30p. Even though the kitchen closes at 11pm the hostess, manager and servers did not give us the typical look you can often get when you go into restaurants close to closing time. They were very nice about our late evening arrival and did not pressure or hurry us. Great service, steak cooked perfectly."

  • "My husband and I recently enjoyed a date night here. The service was impeccable (Steph and Thomas), the food divine. We had a dozen oysters and the calamari for starters. My husband enjoyed the bone in ribeye with lobster macaroni and cheese and I had the Beef Bourguignon. We could not find any fault and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We will be back for sure."

  • "The Chop House ranks high with me because it is consistently very good in the important categories of service, food, and atmosphere. In perhaps a dozen visits I have always been pleased."

  • "Always a consistently good experience. The servers pay attention and the dining experience is as good as the food. It's always a special treat to go to 111!"

  • "If we had to make a choice between dining out once a week at a decent place and dining at 111 once a month it would be 111. Luckily, you can always find the little extra money to enjoy a fine meal at this place. Pricing is reasonable for the value you get. Service is always off the charts and the meal is always prepared perfectly. This place also has two sister restaurants, Via and the Sole Proprietor. Keep them all on your list and enjoy."

  • "Participated in restaurant week. Bar and table service still top notch even at over capacity Saturday night. NY sirloin cooked to perfection! Wine list forever evolving with excellent choices. Overall great night!"

  • "You never know what you're going to get here... very inconsistent. You want to know what to expect when you dine out, and for the price you pay at 111 it should always be great. Unfortunately that's not the case. Service is variable, sometimes great, sometimes amateurish. Guess it's the young staff that accounts for that. Food can be excellent. Bang bang shrimp, traditional shrimp cocktail, onion soup pleased. But the steaks and other entrees were so so. Sides good but cold, entrees were luke warm. Reds by the glass served too warm. Previous visits have been up and down as well... the occasional excellent meal has kept us coming back but interest is continuing to wane. If you want to take a chance here... avoid busy periods."

  • "This place has done of the best food in Worcester! I swear, any of the chefs could go on Chopped and take home the prize because it's just that good. Definitely worth the price for a great night out. I had the beef bourguignon, and it was melt in your mouth tender. If you order a side dish, it is enough to split between two people. The wine is fabulous. The service is top notch. Cannot say enough good things about 111 Chophouse!"

  • "This was the 2nd time my wife and I visited the restaurant. WE loved it! Excellent and friendly service make this a fabulous place to enjoy a fine meal and overall experience. This time we visited during Restaurant Week and enjoyed the set menu. Appetizers and salad were both interesting, well presented and delicious. We both had steak as our entree's and shared a bit. One of the best steaks I have had. Food preparation and portions were excellent. Just a well managed, inviting place that makes you feel welcome and happy to be there. We will be back soon"

  • "I visited during Restaurant Week 2014. While the restaurant was crowded, we didn't feel rushed and our servers were attentive. The food always excels at this restaurant. This is the first time that I sat near the open kitchen. The kitchen hummed with efficiency yet purred like a kitten so that normal conversation at our table could continue. Yes, I would recommend this restaurant to friends but better yet, I would return."
